PICTURE IT..

A world without any type of Technology or any form of Industrialization.

Having been around both Technology and Industrialization your whole life could you transition into a world without both of those detrimental things?

No electricity.
Canned/Packaged Foods.
No vehicles.
You get the point I'm sure...

Could you grow accustom to that world? Or would you be suicidal?

Tbh, it's what we need, and yes, I'm fully ready to discard technology and live depending on myself without using technology. Wandering around the world on a camel isn't a bad idea U_U

The internet and technology addiction is purely psychological. Once we live enough in that world, we will be accustomed to it and the will for survival will push us to discover new things and live like we used to. So in 100 years time everything would be back to how it is right now.

Eh, can or packaged foods probably, yes, because it's all processed food. Back in the day you had to go hunt and harvest your food, in which case that's the healthiest as it being all natural.

I wouldn't be suicidal, but then again, really, technology and industrial advancements is inevitable, as humans we learn and adapt and grow and achieve. Some things I disagree with. I was and still am a big believer of global warming and that the trillions of trillions of vehicles we have in this world that's polluting the air I wish they'd be gone.

But, also, again, reality says that it's inevitable for advancement. We'll have technology/industrial achievements unless some alien race comes to our world and sends us back to the stone age again, then it's a repeating cycle.

People would eventually adapt however the adjustment period might be long since a few centuries would be gone ( I assume you mean stone age technology). Although the benefits of technology such as medicine, transportation, weapons, power, etc would hamper people drastically. Most likely there would be deaths and people unable to cope with losing technology so quickly, but nonetheless humanity would live on.

The food part and the industrialization part I can live without, but I have to say I don't know if I can do without technology. And when I say that, I don't mean it in a shallow "I need my Facebook/phone 24/7" way. I mean technology in general. Human kind's greatest evolutionary progress has been our brains and our ability to invent new technology. Take that away and it's like clipping the wings off of a bird. Not entirely helpless, but naked.

There are people in the world that live like that today so...and I'm pretty sure we wouldn't, the radical change in diet, and the customs we'd have to get accustomed to is ludicrous. If you mean if we suddenly have to live like that then very few people will survive. But due to survival instincts it'll be fins but some may revert to cannibalism. Now if you meant if I can just picture it as if my entire life was like that then yes.

No. I can't talk to any of my real friends (because some of the people I know at school aren't as tight as the ones I know over the internet) anymore without it, I can't watch the news, and people who rely on technology for health reasons would suffer. What if, due to some kind of reason, be it distance or something else, you couldn't get to work or to the grocery store without a vehicle?

As technology has it's entertainment reasons, we have to realize the important reasons too.

We all have duel existence nowadays one online and one offline. I could happily spend all day online if I wanted to without face to face interaction. But would I survive the there way round? Most probably not. XD

I use the Internet for work, uni, games and socialising. It's fundamental to my existence. But I spent a month In Safari with friends and managed ok with crappy Internet connection. But Africa is unique like that lol I travelled other places and never have been able to wean myself like that
