Could whatever is scarier than Kaguya be her husband? Hagoromo and Hamura's father?

We never found out who the father of Hagoromo and Hamura was. Maybe this gaiden will finally do just that.

My guess is that whatever is scarier than Kaguya could very well in fact be none other than her husband.

Think about it! What if he had or has special powers of his own that were far superior to that of Kaguya's to the point that she had to build an army to fight him off?

If that is true, then maybe this new akutsuki is trying to bring him back and have him wreak havoc whih could truly signify the end of everything.

Also with that said, maybe Kaguya wasn't as evil as we thought. She was probably trying to get all the chakra back because she thought she was the only one capable of truly fighting against him with an army of zetsus used to back her up.

So in that sense, she could have been trying to protect her sons from their father who was trying to destroy absolutely everything.

(Either way, the whole scarier than Kaguya thing is a retcon, but this is the most plausible and probable theory/conclusion I could think of as of now.)

I just thought of this after I read the chapter, you beat me to it in posting it. But yeah I agree, it's logical and it is retcon, and so it only continues the story even further, which is what Kishi wants.

Hagoromo and Hamura created the moon. Hagoromo remained on Earth while Hamura settled on the moon to guard the Gedo Maozou and started a family and civilization there. As established in The Last: Naruto the Movie.

What if Kaguya wasn't the only one who ate the fruit? What if like in the story of Adam and Eve, Kaguya's husband ate some of the Shinju's fruit as well and he was simply more powerful than her?
