could u replace Sakura with any female and team 7 wouldnt't change

Okay, lets get this straight. Sakura, who is one of the main characters of this series went from a totally useless drama queen, damsel in distress to a somewhat of a decent support ninja.

The problem is not with just Sakura, but Kishi screwed up with the roles of the other gender to the point that all are just cheer-leading fodders. This makes Sakura seem like the lesser of the evil.

Tsunade, Konan, Temari might be stronger in terms of overall combat, but one is not even a peer, while the other two are not even from Konoha.

In part 1 yes. Replacing her with a rock wouldn't even change much. In part 2 though she's necessary.

If i say hinata, it will become a pairing war so Ino, that mind jutsu + naruto + sasuke = kickass team.
