Since it's from IGN.Com, I'm positive it's a character from a game. I would suggest that the first game characters you go through is Soul Calibur.
Looks alot like from that genre.

agreed, it's probably a game character.
yet he's either in the first soul calibur or in some other game series, because i dont know him and played 2-4^^. I'd try dynasty warrior.

i know he is from a game its not from Soul Calibur and i know its an anime cause i watched an episode of it and dont remeber what it is

and not from Dynasty Warriors cause i would remember his weapons
