Could Rock Lee learn to use Sage Mode?

Could Rock Lee learn to use Sage Mode or does the restriction of Ninjutsu & Genjutsu also restrict the use of Senjutsu?

Sage Mode-
Sage Mode is the result of using natural energy along with a ninja's normal chakra to drastically empower all their abilities.

Senjutsu-
Senjutsu refers to a specialised field of techniques that allows the user to sense and then gather the natural energy around a person.

he lacks control, which i think its pretty whack since he is a exceptional ninja in his way. maybe he just doesnt try hard enough i guess.

that would be crazy! , he would have so much chakra that kata (when you use chakra to hit the opponent) could be considered a long range jutsu , 7th gate + sage mode is OP , could it toughen the body to cope with gates meaning that the side affects are gone?

Honestly, I think even if he could take nature energy in, he'd just end up turning himself into a statue. He wouldn't be able to control his intake.

I don't believe so. He has been shown to have some chakra control because he can walk on water/ up walls and such, but I don't believe he has enough chakra control to try to learn sage mode. Even if he did have the control, it has been noted that sage training requires huge amounts of chakra to being with, something that I am not sure has been documented with Lee.

He might have fairly large chakra reserves, nothing compared to Naruto but still above average probably. Chakra control? Well not really but strange considering how he is one of the most powerful ninja in Naruto's age group!

If he can't make a simple clone then he definitely can't handle senjutsu. But not everyone can handle the gates so the trade off is ok.
