Could Rinne Tensei be used without dying?

I mean let say Naruto has his Yang seal, if Sasuke uses Rinne Tensei or Obito uses Rinne Tensei, is it possible to stop them from dying?

Could a Edo Rinnengan user like Madara use Rinne Tensei?

Gai 8th gate is suppose to be death 100%, yet Naruto was able to stop guy dying, I don't see why Naruto wouldn't be able to stop someone dying by using Rinne Tensei. Heck Naruto was able to bring back Obito either to live or conscious.

I don't know Obito seems to be 100% fine, there was no chakra issue, no fatigue issue I didn't see anything that would make Obito dying.

Lets not forget Obito lost his Bijuu which is death and Obito did Rinne Tensei two death moves.

Ok I correct a few things:

1st Obito lost all the Bijuu and then lost the Gedo
2nd Obito did Rinne Tensei

I am not sure if Obito was unconcious or dead when Naruto woke Obito up.

I think Sasuke could do it and that he would lose his rinnegan powers temporarily but only on people where there bodies are still intact for at least 50%

The manga later implied that it kills the user.

It's called a recton and it's the kind that creates a very noticeable plot hole. Same thing happened with how Izangai worked.

Black Zetsu was the only reason why Obito survived as long as he did and even Sakura and Kurama hint towards the fact that Obito was practically immobile.

If Sasuke know how to use izanagi he can do both in the same time.
Kakashi with Obito inside of him can also do rinne tensei and sacrifice Obito. Since we have not seen rinnegan user "use" their eyes directly for the jutsu, we can still have chance to asume that can be useable once rinnegan unlocked - same to susano madara case.

Yes, RinneTensei is just advance version of EoTensei, it's basically a summoning technique. Nagato and Obito died because they weren't the original owners of the Rinnegan, they didn't have Ashura's power. Nagato would most likely have survived if he didn't summon thousands of lives and spammed the heck out of his dojutsu prior to using the technique
