Could pein become good

In a way pein is kind of like naruto and jiriya. all they really want is peace. The main difference is that pein wants to acheive it irresponsibly by destroying everything and making wars bigger, so in the end there is noone left to have wars. I think that naruto will be able to change pein and make him see things in the same way naruto and jiriya see things and realize that what he is doing is wrong, after all naruto has the ability to pretty much change anyone/become anyones friend. Yes i know jiriya was killed by pein but i think that if pein changes naruto will be able to forgive him. I think it would ruin the story line if naruto becomes obsessed with revenge like sasuke and pretty much tries to kill pein no matter what. It is not like something like this hasn't happened before, when the sand and gaara(who was a psycho at the time) were forgiven afterwards, and gaara became good.

Well dude, I don't want to see Pain become good. Answer this-If a bad guy who is the leader of a group that almost killed one of your close friends (Gaara) and is killing people to gain power, and killed the closest dad-like figure to you, would you forgive him?

Pein is cynical, and close-minded.
The way he sees it, the only way of ridding the world of war is by putting the world under his control, forcefully.
No one can tell Pein otherwise, since he sees himself as the end all be all of everyone and everything.
He thinks he's the judge and jury of all mankind, so no, I don't think he'll ever be REMOTELY good.

i doubt it but if it did happen it could only in two ways......

1 is if Naruto meets the real Nagato (the one controling the 6 bodies) and gives his "inspiring speech about how none of the villagers acknowledged him and now he has "friends" cough ..... Sasuke

or

2 he gets beat down continuously and he talks about his way of the ninja and its all about protecting his friends thus leading to Nagato's flashback where he tells Jiriya that he will protect his friends no matter what

both which are pretty lame

Your idea of awesome is the exact opposite of awesome.
If you've watched a few of the filler arks [Don't, they'll melt your brain] you'll know that he ends almost every ark like that.
He talks about his way of the shinobi while he's kicking the bad guys ass, then the bad guy comes to like a realization that Naruto is right and they all live happily ever after.
