I always wondered if Madara could have won vote against Hashirama. They essentially came down to the wire and Madara already pre planned an izanagi for the future, if he really wanted to win he could have done what obito did to Konan when they fought, since hashirama passed out. I mean if he did that and killed Hathi I doubt his plans would have came to fruition since tobirama and others would hunt one eye Madara to his death.

Well damn, iirc it seems hashi fought madara in base until that last clash where we see him go into sm? Or maybe he uses it on and off? Unless I’m mixing up fights
He was essentially matching Madara trying to convince him not to fight until he couldn't match him any more. Thats when he made the final threat and pulled out Sage mode. If you look at the fight as Madara started really powering up Hashirama could no longer "Clash" with him and was forced to use SM. Had Hashirama immediately went for SM at the start it would have been a stomp.

No it wouldn’t lol. Hashirama was on the defensive in those periods of the fights. Madara doesn’t need nine tails to match base hashirama. When hashirama needed to go on the offensive he used sm and SS which was mostly destroyed after the clash with the nine tails plus PS.
And after this they fought close combat type of a fight. And hashirama was burned and injured, if he had the ability to stomp at that point why did he not lol, he could’ve subdued Madara. The fight went to the wire it’s just that simple. Go re read that portion of the fight.

No he doesn’t. Hashi needed SS to actually hurt PS + nine tails. Again I suggest u re read parts of the manga.
He was holding back til SM mode. If he could have used it for a longer period of time he would have subdued Madara. So again your logic is bad on this one

Madara had to use Izanagi in the end. Holding back or not, Hashirama wins in any scenario.
Had Hashirama actually go for the kill, Madara would've needed to use Izanagi way earlier.

OT: Madara could've won vote he was playing a strategy to disappear. He faked his own death and his objective was made clear, the fight was to acquire Hashi DNA.

lmao deny the manga if you like but the fact that Madara struggled to take out base hashirama only for him to finally stop holding back and use Sage mode is more than enough proof.

Nobody is denying anything, Hashi was worried he was going to get raped so went SM. And that was at the beginning of the fight since the Kyubi was removed SM Hashi fought EMS Madara until the end.
Like I said Madara confirms his plan was something else accept it or deny it I don't really care.
Madara was stated to want to acquire hashirama's power. that was the main objective. SS is chakra intensive and after the barrage, you can see hashirama panting. either way the fight is super close unlike what some driders think. Madara could have used izanagi for the win it seems like since he activated it to fake his death

madara even say himself he plan teh whole thing...he wanted to win teh war vs hashi not that battle (which he could have with jizzanagi...) and xd at pipole who say hashi hold back becuz he said he didn't want to kill madara... hashi show thru his actions (stabbing madara in teh back with a sucker punch) so his word dont mean a $hit!!!!!!! :hypertobi:
