She and Sakura were both crazy to still care about Sasuke after everything he put them through - especially Karin, considering she got hit by Sasuke's Chidori Laser Spear. Logically, she should've died along with Danzo, but this is anime...where logic is basically a 4-letter word.

Karin eventually grew up and let him be (as seen in Gaiden) Plus Karin is a full blooded Uzumaki who are known for their bodies strength

and then there was other factors that Sasuke couldn't align both hearts seeing as Danzou is taller

Lmao, Kishi never said it was contrived, stop twisting his words, he only said the reason for Sakura's love would have sounded contrived, he planned it since very early on, since the start of the anime adaptation.

I know she stopped drooling over him in the end. Maybe know I'll be able to tolerate her. Still, the Chidori Laser Spear should've killed her. The Uzumakis may be strong, but she got hit in the center of her chest and Danzo got hit in the center-left. Part of her heart still would've been damaged, and if not for anime logic (or lack there of), she would be dead.

The major difference between Karin is Sasuke is the depths of the relationships.

+ Sakura was there when Sasuke was emotionally vulnerable and open about his feelings to a degree. Sakura got to see the Sasuke who wasn't entirely cold and who even had second thoughts about seeking revenge but most of all they connected before he departed.

I'm a nutshell: Sakura saw his potential of being a good person.

- Karin always approached Sasuke sexually and he never responded to any of her advances with a speck of intimacy. Now did she genuinely care about Sasuke and his well being? Yes but in all honesty Sasuke never showed Karin the side of him that Sakura saw.

More importantly: Sasuke referenced Sakura & the rest of team 7 with his family on his mini panels of self-thought. Meaning he may never had romance for Sakura but he did see her as family (the love factor was there) and the romance came later.
