Having a debate with a friend, could Deidara have won against Sasuke, if so how?

Sasuke had all the advantages, there wasn't much deidara could have done except the suicide attempt and even that failed

Plus Deidara's main weapon that hindered Sasuke, his mines, were planted by Obito. So without Obito, he wouldn't have even gotten as far as he did.

Fire is his natural affinity tho, and yeah it was virtually the worst matchup Deidara could possibly have... The younger brother of the man who negged him horribly previously.
