Having a debate with a friend, could Deidara have won against Sasuke, if so how?

Sasuke had all the advantages, there wasn't much deidara could have done except the suicide attempt and even that failed

Plus Deidara's main weapon that hindered Sasuke, his mines, were planted by Obito. So without Obito, he wouldn't have even gotten as far as he did.
