Danzo could also be Madara Uchiha, Tobi has bolts on the same arm that Danzo has covered up. Similar hair styles. Not only that, he and Madara share the same hate for the First, Second, and Third Hokage's Teachings and Philosophy. Plus Madara hates the Senju clan, and the first and second were both Senju. Danzo also despises Tsunade for being the Grand-daughter of the First. Danzo also has the same eye covered up that Madara has his Sharingan. Kisame's revelation of Madara being Mizukage offers more support to this theory as Danzo's Root is said to use extremely similar methods to Kirigakure earlier on, the education that led to the village being referred to as the Village in the Bloody Mist.

Danzo is also said to be incredibly handsome when he was younger (probably as handsome as Kakashi seems to be when his mask comes off) because Tsunade and Shizune look through old photo albums in the extra at the end of shippuden episode 64 (Middle of the hour special).

Haha, confusing theory you got there. Well, just to add, here's a thing I noticed from the pics:

Danzou's right eye is covered. And Madara's right eye is the only one we see. Maybe because of the Sharingan. Maybe its a permanent 3 tomoe sharingan. I dunno.

i agree only a phew of your theories make a bit of sense bit far fecthed yeh danzo could be an old pupil of madras but i doubt he is madra because danzo is head of the anbu and madra is mizukage he cant be in two places at once so yeh

Maadara could have killed danzu and stolen his identity. All he needs to do is transfrom into danzu and teleport back and forth or clone justu. 2 place at once</div>

well a part of me thinks that danzo is mada and everybody knows that mada is tobi.i think that danzo and tobi are the same person cuz both danzo and tobi have the sharingan in there right eye and if u watch the manga chapter where tobi removes his mask his eye looks just like danzo's + they have the same hair style and this theory makes sense cuz the one that suggested killing the uchiha is danzo and everyone knows that mada hates the uchiha.

but the other part of me thinks that his sharingan may have been implanted cuz that would make sense why he is keepin an eye on kabuto and he also said that he had somethin to do with orochimaru so orochimaru might have implanted that sharningan for him.

and there is a small possiblety that mada is using danzo's body and the real danzo is dead or maby im just being perenoid XD.
