Obito was using his chakra to make the tree bloom.. so TBB was out of question and he would blow the tree up with that cause everyone was near the tree (and i haven't seen him do that from human form)..
And he tought he would beat them with nunoboko, so he didn't evade.

TBH, no one should of had expectation for Obito.

-Even more so when he trolled Madara and absorbed the Juubi for himself.

The alliance already showed methods of countering his most powerful TBB combination. Therefore the strategy was no longer feasible to waste chakra on. There is nothing wrong with how Obito was defeated. If you have a problem with it, then your expectations were way too high. Its laughable to see a person feel dissatisfied with it, when you could never come up with a better alternative, and yes your alternatives are pretty bad imo.

Lastly, there is a slight chance that this is all actually an illusion. Yes the chance is slim, but it is possible that the genjutsu started already and what we are seeing is not reality.

No, I wanna see Naruto go Rikudo on Obito's ass, and shatter up the landscape a bit before the party ends. I wanna see Obito get slammed, and pummeled just like what Goku did to Frizea after going SS. Then, on Obito's deathbed, we can have the TNJ and flashbacks and so on.

Fair enough, I didn't mind anything as long as Obito didn't get another power up.

1. Naruto will still ascend to Rikudou status because he will probably absorb the chakra that he is taking from Obito because he's the one who initiating the pull with his own chakra.

2. It is pretty evident that spawning the God Tree to use a Worldwide Genjutsu would take up a lot of chakra regardless of his current state. Not to mention, I believe Obito himself stated, when he was battling Naruto and Sasuke that he should revert back to Attack state to deal with them (this is a while after he spawned the God Tree).

3. Madara is still around and he will need to be defeated. He's much less forgiving and hopefully he will kill off some characters before being taken out by the Alliance.

I always thought that the solution to that would be for Naruto to transcend to the next S06P. Kishi kept foreshadowing Naruto as Hagoromo's reincarnation. Well..., that idea has been flushed down the toilet. Kishi trolled us all.

So Obito gets weaker and Naruto gets stronger? What I want to see is both at their primes, battling it out to the death. This way, we get a clear victor, no ambiguity, no complaints, one true king. Is that too much to ask for?
