When Goku first turned SSJ. The lightning that formed all around him in the sky, his eyes rolling up before the green pupils appeared, the yellow aura that first emitted from his body, it was just so epic to see as a kid, nothing tops that scene for me.

Gohan going SSJ 2 was also pretty badass. The timid warrior turning into a straight f***in beast. The muscles expanding, the lightning aura, and the claim of just not letting his friends be hurt anymore? Easily one of my favorite scenes in all the anime I've ever watched. It's nostalgic for me just to remember this.

This was epic too, Vegeta's music is just badass! The fact that Cell was just chillin at first and notice that Vegeta was just no stopping was awesome, the arrogant Cell's face turned to straight fear.

it's the 3rd most popular anime after naruto & one piece

characters are way cooler than naruto but story has less depth.
