Cruel Hegemony is basically a boosting type technique that infuses Kurochi with techniques used aside this one. Specifically the Kurochi that is inside of our body flows through our tenketsu and begins infusing itself with elemental techniques used directly from the body (meaning can't be combined with techniques made to spawn at a distance) to give them traits of Kurochi itself while adding a +10/20 chakra cost. This means each element gains a dark look to it, ranging from a black fireball to a dark grey wind blast. The cool thing is that each technique gains the ability to completely eat away chakra and matter alike. Basically turns an element into "elemental Kurochi" for lack of better words.

There aren't any big drawbacks on this technique. Basic drawbacks like usable on S ranks and forbidden a limited amount of times and the 2 turn cool down between uses.

Only question i have is about the Kurochi traits. Does it gain the traits of not only devouring chakra, but giving the chakra back to us? Like how in other techniques we can use Kurochi to eat chakra/bodies for us and we still gain the partial amount of chakra. Will this stand for the elements infused also?

Now tbf, this is the first time I've fully read mask maker's eye. This is our personal close quarters combat ability, which i have to commend you on. We use Kurochi under the first layer of our skin to make a flexible and malleable layer of "armor" which is then used in various ways of combat, including taking on the traits of Kurochi through our bodies, such as eating away at chakra and other things at a very fast paste. Specifically the combat is broken down into three forms or flows.

Flow of divinity seems very straight forward and easy to understand. Basically using the Kurochi under our skin as a close quarters weapon to be released and molded at our will whenever we are within a close vicinity of someone or something. Merely touching the Kurochi released (which will be connected to our bodies still) will couse the Kurochi to eat away at the skin and and chakra if it is present. The Kurochi released can be molded to our will to make constructs like shields, spears, spikes etc and can reach afew meters out (assuming 5m?) To be used for our close combat. I'm assuming we can use this to feed off chakra and add it to our own also?

Flow of absolution is the more defensive ability I've read thus far. Using the layer we have under the skin, we harden it so that it acts as a first line of defense once something has penetrated our skin. So this means of a kunai or something hits us, it will severe the skin but be stopped by the Kurochi armor directly underneath. Once the Kurochi has been exposed we can use it similar to flow of divinity to attack as we see fit. I'm assuming the armor is A rank in defense and holds all the properties of eating away at chakra and all things in general. Also, it says it protects the organs. Could we coat our actual organs with this to protect, say, getting a stab through the heart or lungs or even the brain? No other real questions on that.

Flow of conquest is very nice. Whenever us or our Kurochi have contact with someone, the Kurochi begins siphoning their chakra at a very hectic rate. This means for every turn the contact is maintained for up to 3 turns, we can siphon 50 chakra points, for a total of 150 chakra. This makes not only combating us in hand to hand combat dangerous, but also touching our Kurochi itself have drawbacks. Pretty dope tbh.

Ok now for the last part, the Kurochi is able to coat our normal weapons such as swords and stuff like that? The Kurochi wouldn't devour the weapon itself? Like eat away at it? I can see how it coats the sac, but regular weapons seems like they'd be eaten, unless we control what is eaten away. Other than that, the restrictions are pretty simple and reasonable overal.

1st Bold: If you used a Kurochi infused elemental technique to destroy an opponent's technique there will be a left over soup of waste chakra and Spiritual and Physical energies in that area (see Primeval Gluttony) as that is what Kurochi would leave behind. However, you won't be able to devour said chakra for your personal gain (add it to your reserves) unless you actually performed the CCJ Primeval Gluttony. So in short, no, Cruel Hegemony cannot destroy techniques and take the chakra back to you. It can destroy people entirely though like regular Kurochi.

2nd Bold: Yes. With the Kurochi being in direct contact with your body any instances of waste chakra it comes in contact with would be absorbed into it, and you as a result. For example, punching a fireball while this is active (following S/W's) will reduce the fireball to chakra which is then eaten by the Kurochi which acts as a proxy "mouth" for you, taking it into your body. You'd still need to post the Primeval Gluttony CCJ though but don't worry, it has no cool downs.

3rd Bold: All of your internals are covered. Everything under your skin. Even your eyes, as the Kurochi can be seen leaking from it sort of like , but pitch black. So naturally a heart stab wouldn't be fatal (following the S/W's of Kurochi) but you can always fake it and then catch the opponent off guard >:D

4th: This is where the meticulous chakra control comes into play. This is the only exception (for now) where Kurochi can consume objects without damaging them. Even though a devastating chakra type by nature, it can still be controlled for specific uses such as augmenting weapons like CW's and the Kagune. Think Sasuke's ability to command Amaterasu.

Now finally, were you cleared to gain access to the Kagune? What I mean is, did you ask me before? I can't remember.

Ahh, after much negotiation with the Elder Ones you've been cleared to have the Kagune implanted in your bio.

But first! You're gonna have to show some knowledge about this weapon before using it. The weapon has a very lengthy description and abilities discourse so you're gonna need to explain all about them like you did for Mask Maker's Eye. After that I'll run a few questions and give some scenarios to test your knowledge on it so make sure to pay attention to detail.

(Kagune) Shining Child
Type: Weapon
Rank: S
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A (-20 each turn active)
Damage: N/A (-40 to user upon Activation and on each shape change, -10 per turn)
Description: Kagune is a very unique custom weapon, as instead of being composed out of minerals or materials, it is a parasitic organism, similar to Kisame Hoshigaki’s Samehada’s. Samehada is a sentient weapon that feeds on chakra. Kagune is a similar case, however, as it lack any proper physical form on it’s own, and as it lacks any way to make judgements and actions on it's own, it needs the control of a sentient/intelligent being. It is surgically implanted into it’s hosts spine, near the Central Nervous System via Medical Ninjutsu, and through this, responds to the users commands. The shape of it outside the users body is not defined as it is almost fluid, as it is red blackish in color, and very slime like parasite. Kagune needs to be implanted into the users spinal cord close to the central nervous system and using extensions it can connect itself to the spine at will. Kagune will connect to the users spinal fluid via extensions allowing the nerves of the user to control the organism from within. This process causes minor or medium levels of internal damage, depending on the location Kagune is implanted. Kagune, like any other parasitic organism can feed on it’s Host’s Chakra, which it uses to expand and harden it’s form, giving it the nickname “liquid muscle”. When Kagune expands and hardens it releases itself from the back of it’s Host, between the bones, tearing through the skin. From this point on, Kagune is activated, constantly requiring Chakra from the Host, as well as causing damage to their body, so long as Kagune remains active. Kagune’s connection, and general requirements for it’s activation, mean that it is technically an additional organ/ limb that the user can control at will. This limb has the durability of an A-Rank and can play on par with elemental techniques. It seamlessly and passively regenerates from attacks A-Rank and below within moments of the clash ending. This regeneration also extends to attacks above A-Rank but is more limited in use. Attacks stronger than A-Rank will shatter the Kagune but it can regenerate from them a limited number of times, namely twice from S-Ranks and only once from a Forbidden rank. Any further damage from techniques above A-Rank will result in the weapon becoming unusable for the remainder of the battle.

As previously stated, Kagune has 4 distinctive forms, each one corresponding to the location it is projecting out of in the Host’s body, with their own unique usages, advantages and disadvantages. The location where the kagune will project itself out of will be necessary to give it the shape needed. Depending where it projects itself out of, it will show 4 different, distinctive forms which all have different strength and weaknesses, while when the shape is changed, the user needs to release the weapon, so that the organism will travel back in, and wait one turn for the parasite to move across the spinal cord and find the new location, where it will reconnect to the spine and project itself out once again, needing to state what form it took.

(Ukaku || 羽赫) Shining Feather
The first type of the kagune which will be implemented in the cervical vertebrae. This location allows the user to, upon its activation, project wing, similar to a butterfly like form which does not give the user any flying abilities but the weapon itself is highly flexible, able to bend in various ways and move according to the users will like another secondary limb, but along with that insane resistance and resilience. This limb can only reach up to short-range in length. Another thing which the user gains would be an improved projectile offensive mechanism, where the organism hard in different parts of their body, releasing shards of the strengthened material which only reach till Mid range. These shards are C-Rank in power and inflict 30 damage. Releasing them counts towards the user's jutsu per turn limit.

(Kōkaku || 甲赫) Shining Shell
The second type is activated upon having the parasitic creature implemented in the thoracic vertebrae. This shape will mostly be used along with the arm where another secondary layer will be directed over it, allowing you to have a protected limb, but including that of an extension beyond the arm,giving you a sword like weapon which is mostly in it’s very solid shape, giving an idea of a very tough material. Being very fast at yielding and swinging, it can be a lot more advantageous than a sword. It can only reach up to short-range in length.

You must be registered for see images

(Rinkaku || 鱗赫) Shining Scales
The third type is created with the implementation of the parasitic creature in the Lumbar vertebrae which gives the user the ability to call forth tentacles from the spine. Up to 4 in number and fairly thick, they can be still remain insanely flexible along with the fact that they are very resilient, as they can’t be cut or broken by normal means. The main advantage is the ability to pierce through even the toughest materials, while having an insane physical power itself, able to lift body’s which the user wouldn't be able to do normally. It can reach up to mid-range in length.

You must be registered for see images

(Bikaku || 尾赫) Shining Tail
The last kind, which is created from having the organism implanted in your sacrum, it will project itself out from the skin in form of a tail. Being the most resilient of all, the maximum number is only one, but halfway there it could be split apart once (similar to a Whale's tail). This form comes with the disadvantage of being shorter, and less flexible and so it can only reach up to short-range in length.

You must be registered for see images

► Can only be used by Six Pāths
► Shape can only be changed four times per battle
► Each shape change counts as a move
► Initial release counts as a move

Ok first thing first. Kagune is a sentient like organism that is attached to our spinal cord in such a way that it connects to our nervous system. It's a slime like liquid organism that has a reddish black look to it. Even though it is sentient, it can't think nor act on its own, instead, needing the host's body to think for it. Due to it being connected to our nervous system, the Kagune becomes basically an additional limb of ours that will act upon our will, similar to simply thinking to move our arm, or moving our legs to walk. It becomes almost natural. Though it is something that we can use at our own will, activating it to sprout out of our spine also has its drawbacks as long as it is active. Not only does it cost a hefty amount of chakra to activate and sustain, it also continously damages our bodies internally, but luckily our healing and resistance to pain helps us still continue through such injuries. Besides the damage to our body and it constantly sucking chakra from us, it is pretty damn resilient. It can play on par with elemental techniques and is able to tank/clash with anything A rank or below without being damaged or destroyed. Or if it is, it near instantly regenerates back to its form to continue forth. It can also regenerate after clashes with stronger techniques but on a limited scale. To be exact, it could take 1 forbidden technique and regenerate, while taking 2 S ranks and regenerate. Anything beyond that will leave the kagune useless for the entirety of the battle afterwards.

Apparently the Kagune can travel to different parts of the spine and erupt in a specific form; Namely 4 forms that have different uses and different strengths/weakness. When it comes to changing throughout the forms, the Kagune would have to retreat back into the spine and wait 1 turn as it finds the new point it will erupt, finally erupting in said form. The 4 forms are as followed:

The first form of the Kagune would be coming from the cervical vertebrae, and called the shining feather. The shining feather takes on the form of a single, very flexible and resistant wing, though it gives us no capabilities of flight whatsoever. Even with its high flexibility and such, it will only be able to extend up to five meters away, never going past short range of me. It comes with 1 Unique ability to shoot out shards of itself that will reach up to mid range and will count as a C rank move (30 damage) and count towards the total moves per turn.

The second form erupts from the thoracic vertebrae and goes by the name of the shining shell. This form reaches over and creates a shell like layer over the arm for protection, equipped with an extendable blade for attack purposes. This is for close quarters combat, and is something to be used in place of a sword due to its durability and reach. Not much to say about this form. Do you have a picture for it? The one in the spoiler is broken.

The third form is erupted from the Lumbar vertebrae, and is called the shining scales. This lets us erupt up to 4 very thick and flexible tail-like tentacles that are used for numerous purposes. Apparently they can't be cut or broken by normal means, and hold very high resilience to things. They can be used to pierce through most things with the tips being pointed edges, so they become very dangerous. Along with that, they carry a very high amount of raw power, being able to lift and carry things that not even the user himself isn't able to. This goes really well with my faction, seeing as my bio already has insane strength. The tentacles are also able to reach up to mid range, which imo, makes this the best overall form so far.

The last form erupts from the sacrum, and goes by the name of shining tail. It erupts a short, thick tail that is singular, though is split at the end like the tail of a whale. By the looks of it, it is even more resilient than the other three, though doesn't specify the exact resilience. It only reaches short range, but it still has its uses. Only question is, exactly how much more resilient is this tail?

The restrictions are simple. Initial release counts as a move, switching counts as a move and can only change forms 4 times per battle.

Hmm, well shit, you covered all that I wanted you to. The thing about the Kagune is, even though its essentially a new limb don't forget that it's a free limb. Don't treasure it. If there was a life threatening situation such as an energy beam or something coming to split you in two don't be afraid to sacrifice the Kagune in your place even if the attack in question is over the Kagune's threshold like a boosted F ranked. In those cases the Kagune can be used as a dampener for the attack, taking a majority of the damage and leaving you with the aftershock. With your regenerating capabilities this is a very wise move and shouldn't put you in that much of a pinch. But wait, there's more! The Kagune can dampen damage even before it gets hit. The Ukkaku Kagune with it's C ranked projectile attack can help shave off some damage from attacks before they hit, but C ranked is pretty weak, right? That's where Mask Maker's Eye comes into play.

With the Flow of Divinity or Absolution infusing the Ukkaku you get an added damage worth an A ranked technique, which is +60 damage. So on paper, these "puny" projectiles would suddenly become become worth 90 (30+60). This is so because MME (that's what I'm calling it from hereon out z.z) has a very specific clause where it can be applied to the Kagune and all its forms, as well as free form and non-chakra aided Taijutsu:

Connecting the "flows" given to them by the "Vile Chakra", they were able to incorporate various martial arts (such as free form and non-chakra aided Taijutsu), allowing them a rather strict control over closed quarter combat. The vile chakra also has a property of being able to consume weapons of the Kureimoa, from the inside, or coating them on the outside, especially the cancerous organ of the Kagune. This technique can be used to coat and infuse the Kagune of each Kureimoa with either of the "flows" in order to boost battle prowess--regardless of which state the Kagune is in ( i.e. Rinkaku, Ukaku, etc).
I know what just flew across your mind and the answer is yes...your free form Taijutsu, when infused with the Flow of Divinity, gets boosted adding +60 damage if you spend the needed move slot. Passively though you gain the ability to hit both chakra and physical objects--just like what Kurochi normally does.

So depending on which Flow you infuse the Kagune with, this C ranked attack of the Ukkaku gains different properties.

Flow of Divinity:
Divinity is an offensive themed infusion, where the Kurochi manifests on top of the skin with contact effects. When the Ukkaku is infused with Divinity these projectiles will act like bullets. Bullets covered in Kurochi that is. According to this Flow, the projectiles would gain a damage boost equal to the rank of the infusion which is A ranked. However, this active damage boost can only be achieved if you spend another move (according to MME's limitations). When infusing the Ukkaku projectiles know that it can't be done after they've been fired but must be before, when your body is still one with the Kagune. Other forms of the Kagune can still be infused with this flow though, which would act like a second skin around the Kagune. Once the Kurochi on top of the Kagune is overpowered you'll have the Kagune left which still carries the ability to resist techniques up to A ranked, two S ranks, and one Forbidden ranked.

Flow of Absolution: Absolution is based on defense, and so the Kurochi manifest beneath the skin to act as unseen defense. With this Flow the projectiles will remain C ranked on the outside, i.e they get no damage boost, but once their outer surfaces (skin) are broken (when they're destroyed basically) the Kurochi that was lying beneath would get exposed and then there would be an A ranked amount of Kurochi open to the world. In this example, it is only after the projectiles are destroyed does the damage of the Kurochi get to come into play. They become bombs essentially. But what makes this even more useful is that if you are in short ranged of the projectiles when they were destroyed you'd be able to manipulate the exposed Kurochi to make it even more stickier for the opponent (according to MME's limitations that is). Don't forget this is still applicable to the other Kagune types such as the Rinkaku but remember that for the Kurochi to damage the opponent in this case the Kagune would have to be broken first, but don't panic, it can regenerate.

What was I saying before that though? Oh yes, with Mask Maker's eye your Kagune becomes even more fortified to take on very strong techniques and saving your skin (literally lol, Claymore joke). So say for example you call out the strongest of the Kagune types, the Bikaku, which has no inherent damage factors on itself (remember the Kagune technique doesn't carry damage but rather survivability and convenience) and infuse it with the Mask Maker's Eye this tail suddenly becomes A ranked in strength while also carrying a potential 60 points of damage (if infused with Divinity). But, this damage boost comes in two flavors, either immediate, on hit damage or resultant, after the fact damage. Oh, and keep in mind, nothing stops you from coating the Kagune again in Flows of Absolution/Divinity, excepting the cool down and actual usage limits, but not in terms of mechanically such as "the user cannot infuse the Kagune more than once per match". We don't have such a limit, so again, don't be afraid to pump the Kagune full of chakra and tank those difficult techniques.

Even though this might be very exciting, please remember that Mask Maker's Eye costs a move slot to initiate, and then another move slot to cover the Kagune. And then if you do use the Ukakku projectiles that's another move slot. So this 90 damage Kurochi bullet method takes all three of your slots. If Flow of Absolution is used then you'll only need to use a move slot if you want to manipulate the exposed Kurochi after the projectiles/Kagune has been destroyed. That you'd also need to be within short ranged of the Kurochi to manipulate it.

If you ever get confused which of the flows does what to the Kagune, or the Ukkaku projectiles specifically, just remember this: Divinity turns them into bullets and Absolution turns them into bombs.

Now I know you have some questions, because this was a very tricky write-up even for me.

Ok tbh i only have a couple of simple questions.

1) When we coat the kagune with divinity, wouldn't it be capable of taking S ranks within reason of S/W? Seeing as Kagune itself can tank A and the divinity is A rank? If so then that's very great. Same for absolution, since it gives extra A rank defensive abilities below the surface.

2) can you elaborate on the "bomb"? It really isn't a bomb per se unless in close range where i can manipulate them, right? Otherwise, the Kurochi inside the shards are essentially useless if in mid range. Or can i use the Vile chakra technique to control existing Kurochi i.e. the Kurochi within the shards from a distance? I doubt it but worth asking.

3) would the A rank application of divinity really boost the C rank to 90 damage? I see it as Stacking an A rank and C rank together, which is merely "high A rank" . Similarly to two A ranks together being just an S rank. Don't think the damage adds up by numbers but if so, then that is a dope application.

Other than that i don't really have any other questions i can think of. Pretty much explained it pretty well. I'm sure I'll think of more stuff as i think on it more though tbh

Q1: Yea, it would.

Q2: Bomb as in, after they are destroyed the pent up Kurochi is released. Think a grenade breaking apart only to release an explosion and shrapnel. And no, the difference between Absolution and Divinity is that Absolution costs a move to manipulate the escaping Kurochi that was lying beneath the surface. Divinity costs a move to form Kurochi above the surface. So with Absolution, when these projectiles are destroyed, they'll still release the Kurochi in something like an explosion but you'd have to be within short ranged to manipulate this explosion like make it into a sword, wall, etc. And yes, the basic Kurochi release technique does allow you to control pre-existing sources of Kurochi up to long ranged with -10 chakra per turn for 3 turns so in the even you aren't within short ranged to mold the resulting "explosion" you can always manipulate it as an A ranked source of Kurochi.

Q3: I was confused on this issue for a while because I was convinced LoK edited out some important parts when he approved it. But after speaking with Six, the creator of this CCJ, MME deliberately mentions "boosting offensive capabilities" of the user which more or less equates to adding damage on top of, ergo, "boosting". Divinity also specifically outlines the damage and chakra cost needed/effected when a move slot is spent so I have no reason to believe this damage isn't added flatly to an applicable technique. I'll try and speak to LoK on this matter for even more clarification though.

And with that you've gained the Kagune CCCW! You'll need to update your bio to show this though so don't go popping it out in any official fights right now. Oh, and you've been promoted to #9, Heartless One. I'll see you here again when more CCJ's are approved.
