( Genjutsu: Kasumi ) - Illusion Technique: Servant
For this next technique, I'd like you to perform a single handseal before tossing a paper bomb towards the your opponent. The person you tapped in the genjutsu will instead see an illusionary clone of the user walking towards them. In battle, you'd detonate the paper bomb as it reaches your target, however since this is training do not detonate the explosive tags. We don't want any of you getting killed
Key Points: Its an illusionary clone, gives you a good idea of how you to realize this Genjutsu.
( Kasumi Jūsha no Jutsu ) - Mist Servant Technique
Following a similar concept, this Genjutsu also causes the user to see illusionary clones. Focus your chakra into your target's mind, causing them to see multiple clones of the user emerging from terrain-based features e.g. rocks, trees. If any of the clones are attacked, they'll appear to multiply, meaning it will seem as the opponent is not making in progress in defeating them. You can also co-ordinate and time your attacks with the clones to add an element of realism to the technique.
Key Points: Like the last technique, these clones do not disturb the terrain since they're purely illusionary. If you cause them to emerge from water, the water source will not ripple or produce any splashing sounds. Its best used in a noisy area (e.g. on a water source in stormy conditions).

*She reaches in her pouch and throws a paper bomb at her training partner and to him, it appears to be a clone advancing towards him. As he tries to attack it, nothing seems to work as the paper bomb sticks to him.*
*Kuchiki wanted to blow him to pieces for being stupid, but she will obey her sensei's orders of no one dying on his watch*

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: I'd use this technique with an earth technique such as Doton: Shinju Zanshu no Jutsu (with the added Mole technique) that way I can pull them underground, ensure a hit on the opponent, and by safe underground myself.
Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: Because if the clone gets attacked, there would be absolutely no signs of damage or stuttered movements.
Your preferred method of release: If my prior attack had no effect on the clone, I would use a kunai to knick myself, revealing the true attack and defend accordingly.

The clones could easily be the "Haze clones" that one can use after learning D-Rank Genjutsu, so its not necessarily that easy to deduce its a genjutsu.
( Magen: Narakumi ) - Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing
Now I want you to perform a string of two handseals before focusing your chakra into your target's mind. Utilize this chakra to cause him/her to see a swirl of leaves surrounding them, before making it die down and fall away. A few seconds after this, your target will see an image of whatever they fear most in this world, severely shocking them and potentially causing them to faint. However, most ninja are strong hearted and so won't faint as a result of this jutsu, bare that in mind.
( Kori Shinchū no Jutsu ) - Sly Mind Affect Technique
An exceedingly simple technique, but most tend to misunderstand or over-complicate it. If your opponent is running towards you in a straight line (if they do not specify, assume its a linear path towards you), you can cast them in this genjutsu. The genjutsu will cause them to see themselves continuing on in this straight line path, when in reality they're running around in circles and not covering any ground.
( Genjutsu: Kai ) - Illusion Technique: Release
The technique itself is a basic chakra surge which can dispel up to S-Rank genjutsus if your rank permits it. As it requires a single handseal, any genjutsus which hinder your upper body maneuverability or cause paralysis which affects your arms can't be dispelled by this method. Genjutsu is commonly used to paralyze or prohibit certain movements e.g. handseals and so more often that not, this technique won't be a viable method of release. Personally, I don't use the jutsu that often since I like to think I would cope perfectly fine without it since there was once a limit on how many times this jutsu could be used per battle. It seems like its seen as the easy way out of genjutsus and the least creative method possible. However, sometimes its the best option to take as pain release is problematic for most bios and this technique can be used to free team mates from an illusion.
Key Points: Make sure to watch the rules for battles very closely, many of them say "No Sub/No Kai".

After a brief moment, the target starts to see leaves violently swirly around him. As it dies down, the target slowly starts to see what he fears most and panics, ultimately resulting in him fainting*

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: Any elemental attack would work quite well with this genjutsu because the opponent would end up panicking therefor opening a window for you.
Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: Sudden illusion-based changes in the terrain, things appearing that aren't capable of appearing in a situation as such, no sound, etc.

Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: Depending on the time frame, you'll eventually notice you aren't getting any closer to the opponent.

Hm, usually its better to avoid this genjutsu entirely by running in a non-linear path e.g. a zigzag-like motion. However, if you do happen to be caught in it, you could simply use the reasoning you stated or use thrown objects to decipher you're moving in circles, since more likely than not the object will go off on angled flight path, clearly showing you're not moving in a straight line. I particularly like Lili-Chwan's reasoning on how to realize Genjutsus such as these.
( Genjutsu: Jinmon ) - Illusion Technique: Interrogation
This technique is rather basic and will require a target far weaker than you who is unable to move/paralyzed. For that reason, you'll be testing on my lab rat aka Margarine. After I paralyze him through the use of an unfocused burst of electricity, I want you to place your dominant palm on his forehead before focusing your chakra into his mind to "convince" him to reveal information. Usually Genjutsus cannot control the opponent's actions (except Sharingan gens), however this technique has many requirements to be able to do so. The opponent must be much weaker than you, physical contact is required which amplifies its effects and they must be weakened enough to be incapable of movements altogether.
Key Points: Not particularly useful for battle, however its a nice rp tactic to use in the Ninja World.

For this technique, I want you to cast your target in an illusion where they see a massive blast of fire descending from the sky above. This Genjutsu only affects the sense of sight, meaning the fireball can easily be distinguished from the real thing e.g. its devoid of heat, sounds of crackling and the characteristic smell of fire/the smoke it produces.

After a second, he starts to mumble and blurt out useless facts about himself. She releases her touch from his head having heard enough*

Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: I'm not entirely sure if this could even be broken being that your opponent will be two ranks lower, already weakened to a point where he or she cannot fight, so breaking this is not really possible in my opinion. Even if they knew it was a genjutsu.

Developing some sort of affinity for this particular genjutsu training, she quickly casts the genjutsu at eye contact and her partner begins to quickly panic and he runs away a few yards. When he turned back in distress, Kuchiki had released the genjutsu and the fireball was gone from his sight*

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: An elemental jutsu that can be used to come up behind the opponent or around all sides, like water spears. That way when they try to avoid it, they will only be running into their own demise.
Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: No smell or heat that fire emits especially as great of a fireball as the description makes it out to be. No heat/burning damage to the objects around it.

*For her final technique, Kuchiki put on an evil smile. As she put her training partner into the genjutsu, her illusionary cloned appeared and rushed him with a kunai. As it jumped up, her partner swung his sword, "chopping" the clone in half as it bursts into cherry blossoms, obstructing his vision and confusing him.*
*Kuchiki takes out her swords and covers it in a raw chidori. After the blade sparks up and glows bright blue with elegant lightning, she rushes her panicking training partner and stabs him in the stomach, paralyzing him and possibly fatally wounding him*
"Whoopsie..." *The lightning on the blade dies down as she extracts it from her partners stomach and he hits the ground in a paralyzed mess*
*She looks at her sensei* "I assume I did quite well?" *She giggles as she sheathes her sword*

Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: No damage done to the clone, silent footsteps and movement, and no alteration of terrain when it performs.
Your preferred method of release: I guess chakra surge? I see no reason this one needs to be released by pain.

Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: I'm not entirely sure if this could even be broken being that your opponent will be two ranks lower, already weakened to a point where he or she cannot fight, so breaking this is not really possible in my opinion. Even if they knew it was a genjutsu.

Combinations you could make with this jutsu: An elemental jutsu that can be used to come up behind the opponent or around all sides, like water spears. That way when they try to avoid it, they will only be running into their own demise.
Your reasoning on why you would deduce it to be a Genjutsu: No smell or heat that fire emits especially as great of a fireball as the description makes it out to be. No heat/burning damage to the objects around it.

*For her final technique, Kuchiki put on an evil smile. As she put her training partner into the genjutsu, her illusionary cloned appeared and rushed him with a kunai. As it jumped up, her partner swung his sword, "chopping" the clone in half as it bursts into cherry blossoms, obstructing his vision and confusing him.*
*Kuchiki takes out her swords and covers it in a raw chidori. After the blade sparks up and glows bright blue with elegant lightning, she rushes her panicking training partner and stabs him in the stomach, paralyzing him and possibly fatally wounding him*
"Whoopsie..." *The lightning on the blade dies down as she extracts it from her partners stomach and he hits the ground in a paralyzed mess*
*She looks at her sensei* "I assume I did quite well?" *She giggles as she sheathes her sword*
