Confused about haki

i am a little bit confused with something , marco and vista used haki against akainu , still they didn't damaged him at all. can anyone explain me why??

Because Akainu had enough Haki to stay in full form however WhiteBeards Haki was way to strong for him. However this hasnt been proven yet... So thats just my speculation.

I think the most accepted is that there are different levels of Haki. So when two Haki users are pitted against each other, those whose Haki is stronger win. So, in other words, Akainu was stronger than both Marco and Vista combined, and so his Haki was stronger than theirs.

Well, the same thing happened when Aokiji got stabbed by Whitebeard. One explenation is that Akainu released Haki at the same time and nullfied their Haki. And bro, join this site:

Its also possible that Akainu has mastered his Devil Fruit to the point where he can avoid Haki attacks.
