Confirmed! Why Madara used Kurama to beat Hashirama

I am not making this to bash Madara i'm just saying Madara knew that without Kurama on his side there was no way he could wear Hashirama down with his jutsu alone nevermind the Sage mode he possessed. Nine tails was used more so as a means to close the gap between there chakra/stamina levels more so than there power. In terms of Power I believe EMS Madara and Hashirama to be nearly equal except when it came to stamina/chakra it's clear who is the winner now and that is why Madara used Kurama.


As of right now in the series and after last chapter confirmation. There is not a single person in the series that can outlast Hashirama in terms of Stamina and Chakra except for possibly Full Bijuu mode Naruto and Juubito.

If we remove Kurama from there fight Perfect Susanoo alone stood no chance against his Shinsuujen Statue considering it took a barrage of Bijuu Dama yet still was strong enough to suppress Kyuubi and Suppress Susanoo/Remove it.

why would madara use kyuubi to gain stamina, it costs him stamina to control it, so either way he will be exhausted sooner then hashirama will. if the kyuubi was willingly fighting alongside madara, only then would madara be conserving chakra

Nope. Shinsenjuu is a manifestation of Mokuton. It isn't a summoning. He didn't say "Kuchiyose: Shinsenjuu" he said "Mokuton, Senpou: Shinsenjuu!" A sage technique of Mokuton. Clearly not a summon.

Not really because Sasuke chakra is more powerful than Madara's and Nine tails (confirmed by Nine tails in manga)

So it would be a battle of Quality vs Quantity in terms of chakra/stamina
