tsunade punched big walls because shes worried and wondering if kakashis dead or not

ガイ班が任務終わりで胸騒ぎすると木の葉へ。
gais group just went back to konoha from their missions

そして綱手の元へ弥彦ペイン到着。

this would be a great issue. it doesn't really conclude anything, it doesn't put periods to the things that are yet to be resolved,this issue presents more and more things,possibly making this konoha invasion saga one of the longer ones yet.

it would be great to finally see the aburame clan showcase their clan abilities.

So because he was able to cut free from the water prison and is the only jonin amongst Naruto to become a Jounin, he stands a chance against Pain? Lol.

Kakashi who is probably at Kage level, got his ass handed to him by Pain. What chance can Neji possibly have. He may be able to help stall Pain till Naruto returns, but that's it. Don't think he'll do much difference.

He doesn't have high enough speed to come near anyone of Pain's bodies. Kakashi (again) who has tremendous speed, barely touched Pain.
But still Chouji's dad still managed to squash one of his bodies like a bug, so Neji may be of some help, but I doubt it'll be anything significant.

I agree I don't think Neji is Akatsuki level, but he would definitely put up a better fight than Ino, Chouji, Lee etc. Shika is probably the only non-team leader (Apart from Naruto... duh) that would be at their skill level (Simply due to his intellect and maturation). I think alot of the characters still need a geat deal of maturation to be at that high of a skill level.

i didn't actually say that he'd be at par with the akatsuki, but that he might stand a chance.

still, you have to admit that it'd be great to see a fight between neji and any akatsuki member.

or any team from naruto's age-group against an akatsuki, for that matter.

I think that Kishi is trying to "catch up" with the storyline before Christmas... and anything of significance will happen after Christmas... thats just my opinion...
