Sadly hes not. Madara/Tobirama/Hashirama worked way more.. Facts. Try creating a set for entire new KKG that no one has had before. Try creating jutsus that noone had before.. yeaa.. I mean sure in hell didn't see Lee and them fighting in wars at the ages of 5.. just saying.

Like it or not, Lee have been portraytad as a hardworker more than anyone, and It's odd someone who uses portrayal logic for everything blatantly stating othervise. Yes he worked harder than Neji, Sasuke, Madara and your precious Hashirama, manga even states that he worked atleast 2-3 times harder than Neji herp.

Madara age 5 = training for war

Madara age 6 = training for war and participating

Madara age 7 = training for war and participating

Madara age 8 = training for war and participating

Madara age 9 = training for war and participating

Madara age 10 = training for war and participating




Rock Lee age 11 = training to be a shinobi

Rock Lee age 12 = Gai starts training him hard and he masters the gates down.

Rock Lee age 13 = Surpasses Neji, someone who had years and years worth of training and Sasuke also.

Rock Lee age 14 = training

Rock Lee age 15 = training

Rock Lee age 16 = Gets on Gai's level, someone who has had 20 + years of training.

Rock Lee has to do his curl ups and etc to stay in fit for taijutsu. Just like Sasuke and etc have to practice their eyes to get stronger.


Jiraiya said the samething to Naruto when it comes to Hardwork .. that Naruto is all about hardwork compared to Sasuke.. However, fact remains Naruto is a bigger prodigy than anyone else of this era.

What is he in Extreme Interests for? Hard work. Read it all.

Don't see Hashirama up there for his hard work. Don't see Madara up there for his hard work. Tobirama is ranked behind Lee.

I'll take Kishimoto's word for it over yours, sorry.

One can be a genius and a hardworker at the same time. Why do people believe a genius can't work as hard if not harder than someone untalented? It's Lee's case here. While being a genius, he is a hardworker as well

Kakashi already mentioned the fact being able to open 5gates so fast proves his genius
