I can agree that the Mist Arc is approved, but the entire Anime being approved because Boruto referenced the Anime fieldtrip is questionable

Of course it is. It is more than questionable..

Why are people arguing so hard on a story that isn't even written primarily by it's original author. It's literally a spin off in and of itself

People saying the entire Anime is canon when Boruto only referenced the Field Trip :|
Nah

you actually think Boruto is going to blabber in detail the whole entire thing

especially when the anime isn't even done the arc?

and do you actually think Boruto or rather the author would even mention that bit if it was nothing more then a simple school trip (let alone not even state it as such in that reference)?

come on Indra you are sounding like Salamander lol

F everything that isn't directly written by the creator. I don't consider anything past Boruto the movie as canon especially because it's so boring and shit. Kinda like a lot of people don't really consider anything past season 5 of Supernatural as canon.

Is supernatural season 6 and above really that bad? I just started S3 and I'm afraid to continue after reading reddit reviews and stuff.

All I'm saying is that it's hard to take this content seriously when no one legitimate is writing it.

but that isn't the point since the Boruto anime and manga are both part of the Boruto/Naruto project or whatever

the term canon doesn't mean anything anymore as likely SP got free reigns on the series as much as the two mangakas did as well

Boruto is a business the only people that have the authority to stop it from being canon isn't even Kishi anymore since he moved on like George Lucas did with Star Wars

the people in charge is Sheushia and the Tokyo stock exchange

It's a sell out dude. I just don't like the idea of what they are writing to be 100% legitimate through and through.

I just take the Manga at better odds because it's a Manga first and foremost. But I'm sure Kishimoto could give two shits as his bank account is moving up

Yeah, Kripke isn't the author of anything past season 5 and the last episode of that season really feels like the final one, well, because it was intended to be so I guess. Some seasons are ok, but not as good as the original ones and there's way too much fan service etc.

our voices don't matter unless there is a large enough back-lash to cause a backtracking shift

but nevertheless if people followed what a fanbase wanted instead of doing things on their own we would have fanfiction and not AO the legend returning from the brink of death :lmao:

We'll see then. I just hope the story picks up because it's really slow still

I'm stopping at season 5 then. This show is really good and I don't want to ruin it for myself.

Well we could've said the anime is canon since the last chapter with some anime class members having appeared but there was the possibility that it was only a easter egg to the anime.

But Boruto mentioning the class trip which includes Kagura, Iwabe and the other anime characters, it's pretty much confirming those anime exclusive characters to exist in the mangaverse, which could make them canon by default. And in that case the other arcs/episodes are also canon. It's just one more hint to what I think they're trying to do with the anime: The second canon media and currently being a prequel to the manga.

See? Whenever a new arc starts in the anime they say it's filler then the manga shows that it's canon then next arc they'll say filler then after the manga says it's canon . They just can't accept the anime to be canon and events that really happened in boruto's life . The first arc is really important since it debuted Boruto's eye Jougan and now the mist arc is canon as confirmed by what boruto said

Why are you even upset at this point? The anime is already confirmed to be in sync with the manga from multiple different sources.

I don't like people spitting lies and making others believe them
