I recently started university and there somethings i have learnt both academically and socially, but i will like to dwell on the social aspects. I for one am not much of a big talker and rather keep to myself, but i see guys who arent no where near the model type or who in my opinion i look way better than still go home with girls and get girls. I then began to wander what really matters confidence or good looks? What makes the opposite *** more attracted? I think its all about confidence but thats just me, if a nerd, or black, or brown, fat, skinny or any kind of person has the ballz to walk up to someone and say something like 'wanna ****?' if he does that on 15 people im confident he can get at least 1 or 2 without looks. Have you say? Is it confidence or goodlook?

If you got the looks you also have the confidence. If you don't have the looks you have the fake confidence.

looks is what you're first to notice, but the staying power is in confidence. i know people that chase after gremlins that look like theyve adaptively evolved to survive in total darkness because they won't spare them a glance.

When someone is confident, they looks attractive and everything they do, they do with confidence and good looks is good for first expressions but if ones not confident, their good looks can't do better in the long run .
I think, I've more confidence than good looks ( looks good enough as some said ) but I'm not a one that cares about good looks much and I like my confidence more because it took time to be confident .

I don't know why skin color is brought up in your post. 
I think a lot of it has to do with confidence. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

You'll notice the louder person first.
If there's a 7/10 in the middle of the room laughing, joking about with her friends and supposedly having a good time. And then there's a 9/10 sitting on the far side of the room, reading a book or quietly sitting with her own friends then, most of the time, you'll end up noticing the louder person first.
Bold, loud and boisterous colours will always catch your eye first, even if they're ugly. It's the same with people.
And obviously when something catches your eye you may not notice something else, even if it is better. First come first served sort of thing.

Appearance is key whether it sounds douchey or not it's the truth. You can't know how wonderful a persons personality is if the person is not even attractive enough for you to engage them. You can have a wonderful personality but if you don't meet my standards in appearance then you are nothing more than a friend to me.

The North is a cold place, I'm just being realistic here and saying what everyone is thinking. Appearance opens the door of opportunity and it's the confidence that puts you through what ever is behind that door. No 3 is walking up to a dime and spitting game, she's gonna swerve him like a homeless man on the street.
