well i think when he said minato and kushina he's saying that at some point one of them confessed to the other, same with jiraiya and tsunade. with asuma and kurenai, while i don't think they ever confessed, the fact that she's pregnant and that they spent nearly all their spare time together could count as a confession

i have to disagree with that...Hinata gave no regard for her life just to say "i love you" to naruto. dont get me wrong sakuras confession was kool to but she wasnt like hinata where she was ready to die, just to say i love you.
