just reading Organic Dinosaur translation on reddit and comparing to this one, and you can see something is fishy because Boruto is said to be born between Naruto and Hinata but Sarada is said to be Sasuke and Sakura's daughter.

It actually is. Since databooks and Kishi a have lied in the past regarding the Madara twist and other things. Which I have pointed out in the previous page.

It's already been revealed that Kishi lied about them being married.

The manga hasn't even been released there so the Japanese fans know nothing about the Karin thing, and all she got from Sakura was her outfit according to that translation. I think it would be ignorant to spoil your own manga, but he did it with the Last, so he may have done it again. I'm just angry that he wasted a whole chapter for NOTHING. Yeah, and the databooks also "lied" about NaruSaku and Sakura's feelings for Naruto.... opsie... couldn't stand it! But if despite the newest guide book Kishimoto makes this "popular" crap happen anyway then he just proves that nothing about NaruSaku in the databooks were ever true neither. So it would be better for NS fans to hope Kishimoto won't retcon the new guide books already. XD

When it says that she's a child of Sasuke and Sakura- it does mean she was born from them. The phrases are interchangeable here and OrganicDinosaur confirmed that. Same with Bolt being a child of Naruto and Hinata- it means he was born from those two.

The series has maybe around 9 chapters left. The fanbook was released just yesterday with new info... he isn't going to retcon anything or go against it.

Fanbooks and Databooks also represent the current point of view of characters at the time from how they're viewed in the NV world- yes. Sometimes. But since this is the case that would have to mean that no one, not even Naruto himself would know the truth about Salad- if Kishimoto took the SK child route. For not even him to know would seem ridiculous and need an excuse, I don't see Kishi doing that either.

Anyway, Salad's description in the fanbook (and the other characters) are 100% from Kishimoto's perspective. Not from NV's here. Not letting Salad be a biological SS child would be the equivalent of having Bolt not be an NH child. Or Naruto suddenly having other parents than Minato and Kushina. It would be imo, since there's no reason for the world to be in the dark about Salad and who her mom is of all characters. At least not from my perspective.

It depends on how good the excuse would be in order for me to consider it okay or not.
