I've been saying this since Boruto started. The Uchiha story was finished and rounded out when Sasuke came back to his senses.
The Byakugan was left behind in Shippuden/Part II. Now it is the focus of the Boruto series. But I worry that a repeat in history is going to happen where Byakugan is going to get all the attention and any other unique abilities/characters are going to, once again, get little to no development.
