Not a fanboy, just a fact backed up by the manga.

Let's start something were your proof superman comic basicly created manga everything in cbs is a super copy of superman comics no be character comes close to cosmic power n I'll show proof

I like manga better then most comics and some comics better then manga so I say man a is. Better I guess

How Come, what makes it better?

it might be because
1 almost every non-seinen manga has at least one overcute totally idiot character... in real life noone acts like misa-misa or hinata... (ok maybe in japan but ,well, I don't live there so these chars just make it even harder for me to take manga/anime seriously..

2 I also don't like the fact that in these series 95% of the chars (both males and females) are excessively hot/cute (designwise) I mean their eyes and facial structures.. just lol.. especially in "school life" series.. in american comics there are many ugly and average looking characters which just makes them more realictic .. not to mention there's no need of extraordinary hairstyles for the characters to be easy to memorize/recognize

ofc what I said doesn't apply to every manga.. for example monster is pretty good (though I haven't finished it yet)

I don't like comics at all, boring and no real substance imo.

It's the style that is different. Plus that manga is of a wider variety and is done much more seriously generally.

On the other hand, I know comics that are absolutely amazing. HQ both script and art. Overall though I know much more good manga than comics.

Personally anime/manga for me. Comic artwork can be beautiful but the characters (as much as I love them) literally just range from dark broody mysterious to witty one-liners or beacons of glory and hope. Both are very good though, manga just has more variety for me.
