I made a thread like this as soon as Naruto took the kyuubi's chakra. I bet you anything Naruto isn't gonna be able to use the tbb until he uses this mode. The tbb seems to need a casing structure so it wont explode and remember Naruto increases his rasengans by encasing them in natural energy. Naruto always need help from another technique he's mastered, to use another technique. He may even use a FTBB there's no evidence to suggest not.

If he able to utilize his own chakra to create a balance between he and the Kyuubi. He could utilize the power he obtains from Kyuubi mode to balance the Nature Chakra he intakes. With a greater chakra to balance out nature chakra he would be able to harness an even greater amount of nature chakra.
Why is the Sage of Six Paths called a Sage? He was most likely well versed in Nature Chakra as well to be titled a Sage. (Jiraiya=Sage, Naruto=Sage, Sage=one who harnesses nature chakra)
IMO SOSP probably perfected the abiltiy to balance all forms of chakra within his body including nature chakra.

Actually your are wright it boost his chakra take in and also enhances everything about him but you know nothing good comes easy,the side effect is going to be one great one,welcome to the base
Just because he was a sage didn't necessarly mean he knew sage mode -__-. jiraya, oro and Tsunade were known as the legendary sennin or sages. He was the first senju so he possessed a tough body and great physical strength.

I think what pheonix sage means is that for him to be a sage then he knows everything about chakra and also dictionary defined a sage as a respected and wise person

Combining both Fox and Sage mode are the ultimate evolution of Naruto He did do it ones when Nagato impaled Him with the chakra blade and at that time Naruto did not have the control of the Fox He now has, that is the difference back then it was the only way to overcome Nagato blade,Now Naruto has control its only a matter of time before it becomes a reality.
The Kyuubi has a say when Naruto uses up all his chakra and wants some more. Fortunately for Naruto, the Kyuubi happens to like him more than he likes Madara and most likely Tobi, given the genjutsu he put him in 16 years ago. The Kyuubi is an illustration of the benefits of treating others the way you wish to be treated.

Hanzou gave them the title of, "The Sannin," which translates to "The legendary three ninja" according to Naruto wiki (it isn't a perfect source, but for that translation I'm comfortable as a reminder), "sennin" does mean sage, thus the So6P is also called the Rikudou Sennin. There's a difference in the words and respective translations, that's why Tsunade is referred to as one of the the Sannin for example, but she's not a sennin. Jiraiya, however, is both due to his knowledge of senjutsu.
Also, the first Senju was a descendent of the younger son of the Rikudou Sennin and the first Uchiha was a descendent of the elder son. During the Rikudou Sennin's life as I understand it, those clans didn't exist. I believe Tobi explains this to Naruto, Kakashi, and Yamato in Iron country while Sasuke is attacking the Kage Summit. Granted, this doesn't detract from our knowledge that the Rikudou Sennin had a powerful body and chakra based of what he left to his younger son. Further, when he was the Jinchuuriki of the Juubi, Tobi reffered to him as supra-human, which is what Tobi wanted. I believe that this is stated by Tobi to the 4 Kage at the summit when he reveals the Moon's Eye plan.
Nonetheless, I don't think that there's any proof that the Rikudou Sennin knew sage mode, and the that the Sennin term comes from his wisdom and knowledge of ninjutsu, etc. as well as possibly more practical matters of life and insight unrelated to ninjutsu such as peace.

yep all correct.
The only connection with sage mode and so6p that may occur is with the great sage toad as hes over 1500 years old.
We know Pa and Ma frog knew about so6p and they regarded the Rinnegan as myth and they are over 800 years old.
These ages are from databooks.
I had a theory long ago that so6p's summon could have been the great toad sage.
OR
The younger son's summon was the great toad sage.
Not saying even if this comes to pass doesnt mean either so6p or younger could do sage mode but thats a logical way to link story wise to the current sage mode users to the so6p or his younger son.

The connection that Naruto has is that their were no Senju nor Uchiha at the time of the SO6P,they are the descendants of the First and Second Sons. But what was the Clan of the SO6P Himself? Like I said not Senju nor Uchiha but something else,Maybe Uzumaki? only time will tell as the secret of both Madara and Tobi are revealed in the upcoming chapters of Manga.

True he may not have known sage mode, but it still high possibililty. He mastered all forms of Charkra right? Yin Chakra for spiritual energy yang chakra for physical strength (or vice versa?) He was most likely as skilled in shape manipulation as he was in the five elements.
Of all the characters in narutoverse not many are recognized as a sage. Narutopedia states the following on the detail of a sage:
A "Sage" (仙人, Sennin) is someone who is able to utilise senjutsu (仙術; Literally meaning "Sage Techniques"), and has mastered the art of Sage Mode or someone given said title because of their renown for their great power, wisdom, or holy standing.
Either way the So6P earned his title.
My theory is that a balance of Yin Chakra, Yang Chakra, Nature Chakra, and Tailed beast Chakra can be obtained by a perfect jinjuuriki. A power that will enable one weild all the So6P treasures and partition the Juubi into 9 beasts.

It would make sense that the So6P was skilled in sealing techniques to have a seal powerful enough to keep the Juubi confined. Even the kyuubi recognizes a sealing technique that the Sage used:

o yeah this is what i was thinking of thanks for bringing it up, what was the SO6P's lineage his family or clan or if he had one? cause yeah ninjutsu was said to be created by him the SO6P right? correct me if im wrong.
and senjutsu is a whole different thing said pa toad to naruto hope i remember it right, maybe that is why when they do a technique for example they say ("ninja art" grand fireball attack), and when naruto and j-man is on sage mode they say ("sage art" gargantuan rassengan) and ma and pa toad "sage art" dust cloud.. sorry for the of topic but it just hit me and yeah nice thread .. + reps
