which one do u prefer ?

for me its Code Geass since the plot is just amazing, there is unpredictable storyline and the action is just amazing,

i mean in deathnote i never surprise with the storyline development(well maybe there is 1 when light discard all his memories and reclaim it when they caught the 3rd kira), but in Code Geass u see what u never expect to happen,

especially the ending both has the same ending but Code Geass ending is just amazing and yet i already spoil my self by reading the wikia but still, the ending is just awesome, unlike light who fail to realize the new world, lelouch is succced his goal with his own style.

gotta agree with SilverGin on this one. Both are phenominal, and should be respected. Gode Geass features some great action and witty humor, but Death Note is just plain funny, not the killing, But L v N, and etc.

I have never watched code geass,but I can tell from the animations that deathnote has a more serious and eerie felling than code geass.. Or am I mistaken?

well i have never read/watch steins:gate but from the hype i can tell its quite good

but it looks like gintama is more interesting

Both are awesome but I prefer Death Note.

Plot-wise; there are lots of difference but both are nearly equally brilliant.

Reasons:

- Code Geass doesn't have someone as badass as Lawliet.

- Death Note goes farer into the human psychology.

- The adrenaline of the mind battles in Death Note are less in Code Geass.

- Death Note has a darker tone, humor and feel which appeals to me.

However, Code Geass got strong points too. Namely;

- Lelouch is less of a douche than Light.

- Death Note dips a bit after L's death and though, Code Geass is longer series, it's more consistent.

- It features war emotions pretty conveniently through its numerous characters.
