Code geass > Death note.

After somebody told me the main character in code geass is almost the same as Yagami light from death note
I decided to watch it. But in my opinion Code geass is Hands down better, them feels and that ending was just amazing.

Which one do you think is better Death note or Code geass ?

On August 10th of the year 2010 the Holy Empire of Britannia began a campaign of conquest, its sights set on Japan. Code Geass by faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar for me. But then I didn't really care for Deathnote. But everything about CG was great for me. So many feels throughout the anime and many things happen that just make you think twice about life itself... And the ending was just the icing on the cake for me, I like Lelouch a lot more than I liked Light and I watched DN first. Lelouch is one of my five favorite characters of all time.

IMO on an intellectual level Death note is superior but when it comes to story line and the intensity Code geass takes it.

Code Geass starts out boring and slowly gets more and more interesting. It wasn't until the last couple of episodes that it reached the level that Death Note had all the way through.

Honestly I think people just overrate Code Geass, because of how good the ending is. The last episode is quite epic and that's what you remember the series for. But up until then it wasn't nearly as good.

Lelouch > Light. By far, no contest. Hell, even Suzaku is a great char, I mean, I ****ing hate him after all, I don't even hate any real people as much as I hate him - a ****ing fictional character.

That was my exact thoughts too, at the end of code geass, C2 was talking with lelouch. My guess is that he was the truck driver they showed the silhouette of. I thought once you kill some immortal, you gain their immortality. Like how Lelouches father killed b2, and how c2 killed that nun, and how lelouch killed his father. I'm pretty sure he's alive.

CG is one of my fav anime
The 1 million zero's scene, that's some epic writing and one of my alltime fav scenes in anime
The rewatch value is also much better than Dn

i have to agree with this tbh.. its still a matter of opinion however i started watching code geass a while ago and its awesome.. imo its far better than deathnote.. and this is coming from someone who isnt really fond of mecha anime

Well he got the code from C.C and His father, Lelouch was able to see the past of C.C Because she was immortal, the same thing happened with Nunally when she touched Lelouch.
