Code geass > Death note.

Plot wise: Death Note > Code Geass
Character wise: Lelouch > Light (debatable)
Intelligence wise: Light => Lelouch IMO (Lelouch succeeded but his opponents weren't as good as Light's opponents and the Geass is much more effective than the Death Note)

Code Geass is in my top 5 but I prefer Death Note. I thought the idea if mecha was terrible but it wasn't too bad in Code Geass. I think I'm the only one who likes Suzaku lol.i prefer to believe that Lelouch died. It just makes his character so much better and proves he was selfless and true to his philosophy "the only ones allowed to kill are those who are willing to die".

Death Note by far. I hated the ending of Code Geass, and Lelouch annoyed me the whole time. Death Note is leagues and leagues above Code Geass to me.

That was my exact thoughts too, at the end of code geass, C2 was talking with lelouch. My guess is that he was the truck driver they showed the silhouette of. I thought once you kill some immortal, you gain their immortality. Like how Lelouches father killed b2, and how c2 killed that nun, and how lelouch killed his father. I'm pretty sure he's alive.

He got both codes from V.V and C.C, which grants you immortality, that's the reason why Nunally was able to see what really happened by grabbing Lelouch's hand. Also want to add this.

That's highly debatable. Who did execute it, then? The higher consciousness or C World itself? In that case, you can view them as being the "murder weapon", which still puts Lelouch as the killer.

I watched 7 episodes and they are boring af (no offense) but people say it's better/as good as Death Note, so should I continue to watch?

Code Geass was the bomb, idk what was the better series but I personally prefer Death Note and Light.

Too bad, Lelouch uses an alias . Only Suzaku and his family know his REAL last name.

When Lelouch took over as Emperor he announced his full name on TV and then went against the world, Light would have considered him a criminal and killed his ass right there had he existed in their universe.

It definitely picks up after those 7 episodes but don't force yourself to watch it. I found DN kinda boring at first too but I liked it as it finished off. I still wasn't fascinated with DN in the end though, not like I was with Code Geass. But that just means I have different preference between the two than other individuals. My point is, you should try watching a few more episodes to see if it picks it up any for you but if not, don't force yourself to watch it. You'll hate a series that way.

Well it does make sense, I mean why would C.C walk around with a origami bird, If lelouch was the
man riding the horses it would be some sort of reminder about Nunally and here wish everytime you make one.

Even though they're quite similiar , you cannot compare them . Both are completely different , but the main character is kinda the same . Personally , I prefer Death Note more , although it wasn't great after the episode 25 . Code Geass though was a masterpiece , Lelouch is a genius and C.C. is quite lovely <3 . But I have to go with Death Note simply because its awesomeness .

If you ask me, Code Geass, was amazing, but it was ruined by the Mech fights that were pointless and had no place in the story.
