A strong continuous pulse could be felt throughout the entire area like that of a heartbeat. It was a strange and unusual place for those who had no clue what this place was let alone know where it was. The ground was a not the normal color one would typically see in their everyday life, it was a mixture of dark and light blue where pieces of the ground could be seen floating in the air. Off to the sides down below is what seemed to be a sea that was bright green in nature that was truly a strange sight to behold. The sky above looked normal but if one looked hard enough they would see nothing in the sky, no stars, no birds, nothing. The place was devoid of life except for one, a woman who is standing with her back pressed against a bright shining light blue stalagmite in a large open area(bottom part of the picture). She is wearing her usual attire that she is often seen wearing. Velvet comes here often and is the only one who knows what this place is and where it is, but that would be for long as she waits patiently for her partner to arrive for their usual training session.
It felt otherworldly. Perhaps only selected individuals could reach, or hell, even know or hear about this place. It was truly ethereal and beautiful. Everything seemed quiet until a swift black figure was moving across the forest of rock pillars. The floating rocks would be pushed down slightly as his boots tapped on their surface and quickly rise up to their usual height the moment he jumped. As he moved, he scanned the surroundings whether he'd find the exact place Velvet told him, and there it was. Jumping from a rock, Feitan lands in front of Velvet, medium range. He looked around, as if to show that his awe was still strong. "You have to grant me permission to freely come in here." Half-jokingly, half-serious. Velvet could have interpreted it how she wanted.
Feitan was in his usual attire; black coat, his red-and-black bandana with a skull stamped on it, and an Iwagakure headband in his forehead. He did not hesitate to crouch and unstrap his Leg Weights, albeit when he unstrapped them, he did not necessarily take them off his legs. Yes, they were no longer attached, however they still clung to his legs and if he moved an inch they'd come off. "Well then, shall we begin?"

In the distance sounds of footsteps could be heard in the direction where a large pillar of light could be seen shooting high into the empty sky. As the footsteps echoed so did the floating rocks from above begin to dip down where a person could be seen moving from one to another, making his way towards Velvet's location. It was obvious that it was Feitan from the direction he was coming from as the only way into this place is where that pillar of light is. Making his arrival known Velvet leans up off the pillar she is currently leaning against with her arms crossed and waits for him to make his way down to her. As he lands she could see it on his face that he had no idea this place existed, though no one else really does either. This place they are in has been forgotten about over the countless thousands of years that have come and gone. Feitan's response with his arrival gave Velvet a bit of a chuckle. "Glad you could make it, and sorry for keeping you in the dark about this place for so long. I had to find out what this place was before I told anyone else about it. This place you are in now is a place that has been forgotten about for so long." Velvet uncrosses her arms as she watches Feitan loosen his weights. It seems he is ready to begin. "Before we begin let me tell you just what exactly this place is. This is called the Earthpulse also known as the Dragon's Veins. This place is deep underground, you could say we are inside the Earth itself. I've found a book that led me to this place, an ancient book that is called the Earthen Historia. So far I've only been able to interpret parts of the book and this place is supposed to be connected to all parts of the world." As she goes on the strong pulse like that of a heartbeat could still be felt. It was strong.
Velvet continues on explaining to Feitan as she herself bends down and unstraps her weights, but unlike Feitan she takes them completely off but keeps them grasped firmly in either hand. "This place is supposed to be the heart of this world. Can't you feel it? The beating pulse that flows through this place? Truly, amazing though sadly this is all I have been able to learn from the book. I have yet to decipher the rest. Though I get a felling there is a lot more to this place, that's why I come here often without telling anyone. Anyways, you are here for a reason and lets get to it." Without much warning Velvet bursts with great speed towards Feitan with both weights still in hand. As she closes the distance she vigorously tosses the weight in her right hand straight at Feitan while she tosses the one in her left towards the ground right next to his right side. The one tossed at the ground right next to him is to make it hard for him to evade the one tossed right at him as the ground would cave in from the weight hitting the ground, caving it in and messing up hit footing. If the weight that has been tossed right at him and makes contact it would send him flying backwards while dealing a great amount of damage, but not enough to kill him as that was not the point of this. Immediately closing the distance a bit and throwing her weights at such a forceful speed, Velvet performs an upwards spinning kick that creates a tornado that forms into a long dragon that hopes to swallow Feitan whole. Though because of her mastery over her fighting style, the spinning kick she makes to perform this attack happens at twice her current speed, making this attack happen like that in a blink of an eye. This was a true test to see how Feitan would counteract this troublesome assault.

Description:
This is an ultimate taijutsu technique created by the legendary taijutsu master Chen. It appears to be initiated by an upward spin kick at which point it quickly becomes like tornado. Forming into a dragon with long whiskers, it attacks the target aiming to swallow them, at which point they are cut by the razor sharp air currents inside the attack. After initiating the attack, the user appears to remain shielded within the base of the tornado as the outward surface of the dragon seems to be solid enough for a person to impact and rebound off of, making the only way to enter the technique once it has been initiated is by being swallowed. However, there is one distinct weakness to the technique. Since the Dragon God's real form (and what it basically is) is that of an ordinary tornado, though cosmetically shaped into a dragon, its attack power is based on rotation. If one enters the attack's centre (Dragon's Eye) while rotating at high speed, such as Lee's One-Man Front Lotus, it can be dispersed without inflicting damage. The technique, while seemingly similar to Wind Release, is actually just the users own physical power (through the use of the spinning kick) shaping the air into currents through movement. It is, however, enough to fight off elemental ninjutsu of the same rank and below.

As Feitan loosened his weights, his movements stopped completely as Velvet began to tell him about this place. Apparently, she had learned this from a book called Earthen Historia, containing pieces of information which lead that this place is called the Earthpulse. As these thoughts crossed Feitan's mind, he felt a strong heartbeat passing through his body; he could feel his organs vibrating, but strangely it was a nice sound to his ears. It reminded him of the countless hearts he's ripped off in his torture chamber. Of course, Fei could not help a sadistic smirk which slipped off his lips. "So this is the underworld, in other words." He says as he hovers his look to his own weights which were barely clinging to his legs. The whole environment continued to pulse. Despite his nature to not show a lot of emotions in the outside, Feitan was quite enjoying these moments, until he looked in the front and saw Velvet getting down to business by unstrapping her own weights. "Well then, it's time to get to it."
As Velvet took a hold of the heavy objects, Fei removed his hands off his pockets in a steady manner without flinching his legs. As this happened, he released Meiton chakra from his dark mark located in his left palm. This chakra covered his entire limb, starting from his fingertips to his shoulder. His hair began to flow up and down due to the massive energy which composed the chakra. Not a moment later, Velvet bursted forward in a speed Feitan could follow with a lot of focus. As she closed the distance quickly, she threw a weight straight at Feitan, who in response lifted his right leg and swung it towards the opposing weight (Velvet's). This swing would cause the loosened weight of his to be shot off and intercept Velvet's weight without it nearing Feitan. The clash would generate a medium shockwave which made the Earthpulse silent for a slight moment.
Instantly after releasing his right weight, Feitan jumps up and forward, intending to enter CQC distance with Velvet. Due to the jump, the other weight of Velvet which crashed with the ground and made a crater would not affect Feitan at all. Simultaneously as Fei jumps, he grabs a hold of his left leg's weight with his dark chakra arm. Both limbs being to the left side would make this action fluid and not taking time. By the time Feitan grabbed his weight, he'd already come close (3 meters) to Velvet, who started spinning furiously. This spin started generating a mass of chakra which resembled a dragon. Since Feitan was basically in short range from Velvet, the dark chakra around his arm would prematurely end Velvet's dragon technique by absorbing it. The fast wind currents without delay began to be absorbed by the dark chakra, leaving Velvet in the clear and Feitan ready to strike. Since Feitan was still moving as Legacy of the Ghoul absorbed Leaf Dragon, he'd basically be an arm's length away from Velvet now.
Swinging his left arm eagerly, Feitan lets go of the weight he was holding. In such a close distance, it would be impossible to dodge the object. The object was aimed to hit Velvet's chest. Should it hit her, it would break her ribs and mess up her lungs' function for a few seconds due to the impact. Though, this was but a diversionary attack after all. It only served the purpose of distracting Velvet into trying to defend from the weight, as Feitan creepily extends his right hand and sadistically grabs Velvet's neck, strangling her without restraint as he lifted her a few inches from the ground. Simultaneously, the mark located in his palm began absorbing some chakra from Velvet. "Is this the best you can do?" Fei's black eyes shot right into Velvet's soul; watching her in agony was satisfying. Although Feitan wasn't mentally handicapped to go to the lengths of choking her to death, as Velvet was his only true friend after all.
Having his adversary strangled and a little bit lifted from the ground, Feitan delivers a punch to her guts. This powerful strike sent her flying against the pillar she had been leaning. The moment she was sent flying, Feitan retracted his right arm back as the absorption mark was still glowing due to the chakra it absorbed from Velvet. He then stood like usual, waiting how Velvet would react and why not try to come up with a better strategy to attack.
(Meiton: Izou no Gaki) – Dark Release: Legacy of the Ghoul

Description: The user will focus their meiton chakra into the mark on their palm to release a single or several orbs of dark chakra. The violet sphere(s) will orbit their creator and follow his or her movements exactly, making them more useful than a simple static defense. The purple orbs can absorb any number of energy-based techniques (that are weak to dark) up to their rank but their real utility lies in their capability to be combined and/or reshaped. If multiple orbs are created, they can be merged to combine their collective power (combining two B-Rank orbs would make a single A-Rank one). They can be fused and separated at will, this being a passive maneuver. In the same way, they can be reshaped to take on any form or structure such as elongated lances or expanded into a hemispherical dome that surrounds the user. In terms of size they each can shrink to the proportions of a kunai or expand up to short-range in diameter. After absorbing at least a single technique, the dark spheres can be converted into purple flames and sent towards the opponent. For every absorption made by the orb(s), they gain +10 damage. For example, if a single orb was created and it managed to absorb two techniques before being converted into flames, it would gain an active damage boost of +20.

Description: By activating the absorption mark in one of his hands and touching an enemy, the user is able to absorb up to 40 chakra points on contact. This chakra can then be used to fuel release-type Dark Release techniques.
"Underworld, huh?" One would think that could be what this place truly is, but Velvet doesn't seem to agree with it. There is more to this place and she plans on finding out. As the sparring begins and Velvet starts her assault she could see dark chakra rising up from his left palm as it starts to cover his entire left arm. A grin runs across her face as this happens as it could be seen as him trying to copy her in a since with her own dark arm she has. Though with him doing this she continues with he plan throwing the weights at him where he counters one with his own and jumps up in the air and towards her to avoid the second. At this point Velvet had begun her attack by performing a spinning kick to create a dragon made of wind currents but of course as Feitan closed in the distance with his jump, his dark arm began to absorb her attack, leaving him unharmed. With her attack thwarted and him now on the ground moving towards her, she plans her counter attack. As Feitan gets within arms reach and starts to lift his left dark arm with his second weight in hand, Velvet acts accordingly. Watching his movements of his arm she could tell he was going to use his weight as a weapon to knock her off balance, and at the distance they were at, it would be hard to dodge if she didn't perform the right move. Loosening her body and becoming in drunken state of sorts, Velvet moves her body to the left while slightly leaning back to avoid the weight as Feitan's arm extends and begins to try and release it. At the time she begins moving out of the way both of her palms would now be covered in a layer of dark chakra where she uses her left palm to perform a strike against Feitan's left wrist. This strike would cause his left arm to curve in towards his chest while he releases the weight, causing the weight to now strike his own chest and knock the wind out of him. Because of the dark chakra covering her palm the moment it makes contact with his left wrist it absorbs the dark chakra covering it while also causing the dark chakra covering her palms to cancel out, leaving him with nothing to use to attack or absorb with.
Using this moment while he is stuck by his own weight Velvet continues her counter attack by covering her right leg in wind chakra while also doing the same to her left palm. Using her right leg she performs a kick towards Feitan's left ankle, but before it connects she stops the kick which causes a strong but small gust a wind to send him off his feet.Quickly following up this action she performs another strike with her left palm towards his neck, where right before it connects she stops the strike again, causing an even stronger gust of wind to appear that strikes Feitan sending him in an uncontrollable clockwise spin away from Velvet. All of this would happen in a quick fluid motion making it quite hard to defend against, especially with how close they are. "Is that the best I could do? You did exactly what I wanted you to do, to get closer to me and now look what happened."

Description: An ability to help increase the ability of dark users in close combat. The user will begin by activating one or more of the dark marks and will begin releasing dark chakra from it. From there the dark chakra will coat the area where the mark(s) are located, and take the shape of the part it covers. For example, if the user does this with the mark on his left palm the dark chakra released will surround the entire left hand, taking the shape of it similar to how a glove would fit on a hand. The dark chakra that has been release is connected to the dark markings which it constantly drains the users chakra to stay active. Because of the destructive properties of pure dark chakra any Taijutsu based attacks used with this will receive an increase in damage, but not only that but because it is dark chakra and it being connected with the markings, the user is able to absorb jutsus that mainly cover the body such as lightning armor if they are to make contact with it, of course following dark's strengths & weaknesses.

Description: The user will advance on the enemy, closing the distance in one powerful lunge using the left leg to anchor himself. While doing this the user will channel Futon chakra in his right leg and left hand respectively. He'll then bring the right leg, which would be hanging behind, towards the opponent's ankle(s) in a short, horizontal instep kick but he won't complete the motion, instead he'll cease movement in the right foot as soon as it reaches about 5-6 inches from the opponent's targeted foot where he will release a small gust of wind with just the right amount of force to send them off their feet while his left hand in the form of a Shuto strike will come crashing down on the opponent's neck or head area but he won't complete this motion either, instead he'll stop his own hand a few inches from the target to have a more powerful gust of wind fire from his hand onto the targeted area from the user's upper left towards the lower right in a diagonal motion. The small gust supplied by the sweeping kick combined with the more powerful gust from the hand will cause an imbalance in the force applied on the opponent's body and send the opponent spinning in a clockwise motion with great force, capable of up to 4 revolutions spinning on the spot.

Soon as Feitan enters CQC distance, he notices Velvet's hands being covered in Dark chakra. In his mind, he thought of this as a signal that she had a plan after all. As a consequence, his grip on the weight increased and he did not decide to throw it after all. In the next moment, his wrist is hit by Velvet, managing to force his arm inwards and hit his own self. However, to Feitan's luck, the fact that his other hand was already lifted made it easy for him to slip a kunai out of his coat's sleeve into his hand and use it as a semi-defense against the weight. Not only this, but because his grip became stronger on his weight, it was relatively easier to control, given the fact that the dark chakra around Velvet's hands was absorbed by Feitan's legacy and vice-versa.
The sharp-looking kunai made it possible so the weight changes its route, missing Feitan's body by an inch. Roughly at the same time as this action happens, the Indigo Dark focuses dark chakra from Velvet's legs' fingers and up to the edges of short range behind her. This chakra took the form of a near-invisible looking layer of Dark chakra, and since the terrain was shady/not well lit itself, it would be practically impossible for Velvet to notice, seeing as she was occupied with her drunken state. By this time however, Velvet would be trying to apply wind chakra and go for a kick, though the moment she aims to do that, two dark arms emerge from the dark layer immediately, ceasing any kind of movement. The arms emerge from behind, her blind spot, and one arm goes for the neck and the other grabs her by her legs, lifting her in the air. "Looking in pain, huh?" Feitan said as he hurled his weight straight at Velvet's face. This would surely turn her face ugly and with major injures, though her live would not be in danger whatsoever. The real thing Velvet would have to worry about is that the dark arms would turn into blue flames the moment they absorb Velvet's chakra. Ergo, with the performance of one handseal and a backwards jump as to get out of the way, Feitan makes the dark arms explode into a sea of blue flames, burning Velvet alive.
Meiton: Mōtaru no naitomea - Dark Release: Nightmare of the Mortal

Description: A technique which is controlled by the user and considered to be very fast in performance, the user activates either dark mark on his palm and sends a near invisible dark layer to reside on the ground. It is 2cm thick and the size of this layer is usually up to the user, but it cannot be larger than the short range radius from any target. The mechanism of this technique lies within any sudden movement done by a target with his feet. Be it a jerking movement in order to run, or simply a foot stomp, the dark layer will trigger and a total of two black, adult-sized and with elongated forearm arms will emerge from the layer and capture the target in mid-movement, restricting their movements. The way the hands emerge is dependant on how the user describes them in his move. These hands have the ability to absorb chakra, and as they start sapping, they gain a slight blue hue, and this will further increase their grip on whatever body part of the target. With the performance of one handseal, the user is able to set these hands aflame; creating a sea of full of blue flames which can cause 2nd degree burns to the target.

The area is actually quite lit up if you look at the picture, but regardless the move is only 2cm thick so wouldn't really notice it anyways. ._.
Going to perform her kick to knock Feitan off balance her leg refuses to move as if something has a hold of it. Looking down she spots a hand holding onto it while noticing a shadow rising up behind her. She knew what he did as she had the same jutsu. Acting quickly before the second hand grabs hold of her, dark chakra begins to cover both of her palms as it crawls up both arms covering them completely as they take on the form of two dragon heads. With her right palm open she faces it towards the dark hand below as it absorbs his attack, freeing her from its grip. This would also get rid of the other hand that was rising from behind as well, since they are connected as one whole. Now free Velvet sees Feitan swinging his arm with the weight still in hand hoping to hit her. Dropping backwards towards Velvet would avoid the collision with the weight just in time. As she falls backwards and the weight misses she also goes and raises her left leg upwards to perform an upwards kick. The kick would connect right as Feitan lets go of the weight where it is sent flying off. The aimed at his chin would surely cause a bit of damage while also sending him flying upwards. Sending him flying upwards Velvet quickly raises herself back up and follows him and delivers another kick this time to his chest knocking the breath out of him, while using this kick to push herself above Feitan. Reaching higher than him she goes in for one last strike, a powerful dropkick to his chest yet again. Though this strike would send him crashing to the ground with such force it would leave a crater behind.
(Hauringdoragon - Ouroborusu no Ikari) Howling Dragon - The Wrath of Ouroboros

Description: The user starts off this technique just like any other, by applying dark chakra around his limbs that provide dark marks and have it get the shape of a dragon's head. The "neck" of the dragon will cover the entire limb of the user and the actual dragon head will extend one meter from the fingers' reach. The technique was specifically created to stop incoming techniques hence the dragon heads are larger than usual. Respecting Dark's S/W, the dragon heads will be able to absorb techniques within reason. (S-rank for elements weak to Dark; A-rank for neutrals and B -rank for those who're strong to Dark) The user has to take into account the incoming technique's size in order to safely absorb with the dragon heads. With an individual dragon head, the user is able to absorb small to medium sized techniques. Alternatively, the user may join his limbs together and thus have the dragon heads conjugate together into dragon head which rivals the size of Fire Release: Hellfire Technique. This large dragon head can use a suction-like effect from his mouth and draw in any technique regardless of its size. The dragon heads' power is equally divided among them so it's regarded as one whole in terms of power. When confronting an enemy, the dragon heads will simply phase through them but will absorb a total of 60 chakra points in that turn. Any chakra absorb will be kept in the dark marks of the user to be used for later to perform the Release portion of this style.

Description:
The user begins with kicking the opponent into the air. Once the enemy is airborne, the user will quickly follow, positioning himself to deliver a kick to the opponent in the face or upper body, disorienting him and using the movement to position himself above. Once above, the user will finish with a powerful drop kick that will send the opponent back down to the ground, with such might that from a 3rd person perspective, only a flash of light is visible coming down, ending in a crater and a massive dust cloud.
