Getting to the battlefield and seeing the boy,kakuzu immediately spits a lightning spear aimed to pierce shino's belly killing him immediately.
As the spear leaves his mouth,he creates a fairly powerful jet of water from his hands.

Descripton: The user, after performing the Snake hand seal, emits lightning in the shape of a spear from their hands or mouth which then pierces the enemy. Kakuzu, the original user, shoots the technique from his Lightning mask's mouth. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock; meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies by branching the main spear. This, coupled with the sheer speed of the lightning, makes it a difficult technique to evade. This strong attack can be defended against by an equally strong attack of the same element such as Raikiri.

Seeing the approaching lightning spear of lightning, shino quickly switches position with a dead log of wood(that is 5 metres to his right) then he quickly uses the bugs on his body to form a replica of himself that runs towards kakuzu.

As shino sees kakuzu pointing the sky, shino quickly leaps to the back(3 metres to the back)(escaping the lightning) spitting 3 fire balls in mid-air that moves towards kakuzu and forms geyser of fire that burns kakuzu. And as shino lands(the fireballs are 4 metres away from kakuzu) shino makes the required handseals, making 4 pillars to erect around kakuzu, release a barrage of ligtning to strike kakuzu then shino says "just because we are both in the same costume doesn't mean that ill have mercy on you"

The description says jumps to the air, not specifying that i have to jump up in a straight line so by leaping backwards, i still jump into the air(escaping the lightning strike).
Bros read properly with your eyes before jumping into conclusion.

A jutsu states that the user jumps in the air and shoots bullets of fire. And you are saying that you dont have to jump in the air since you choose to leap back wards.
Do you remember the episode where itachi and nagato were fighting killer bee and naruto. The particular fire jutsu that itachi did by jumping up is specifically the one you did. "Argh, why do you have to be this 000B
