Is a cliff terrain, with both of us about five metres from its edge fine?

I'm using Ryuu in my sig, although I've completed all the elements now, along with some other things.

Cool, I'll use Annie in sig, everything is in there I think. You may begin with some RP

 

[Ryóma]

On his way home from a mission, Ryuu looked at the ocean to his left, magnificently reflecting the sunset upon it. He started to walk slower, taking in the scene before him, with his head turned the whole time. He had to be careful though not to get too close to the edge of the cliff he walked upon, although of course he could use some kind of tool to save himself if he did fall. Better to prevent something than to cure it though...

Tufts of grass were scattered upon the cliffy terrain that Ryuu walked upon. They moved to and fro with the wind. Given that he was next to the ocean, the wind there was rather strong, but not enough to unbalance him. It was chilly though, especially since it was evening. The falling sun gave off enough light.

As he was walking, through the side of his eye, Ryuu noticed a figure in front of him, at some distance away though. Stopping in his tracks, he turned his head away from the ocean, back to in front of him. Given the distance between them, Ryuu could not see the person properly, so he activated his Byakugan to be able to see better. Immediately, the veins around the boy's eyes protruded, and he could see a whole lot better. Studying the person, he realised it was a girl, probably just a few years older than himself. But something about her looked familiar to him. Her muscular build, blonde hair, blue eyes, and barely an expression on her face, just like Ryuu himself. Perhaps, was she in his village?

Then suddenly, he remembered. The four noble clans of Konoha included the Aburame, Akimichi, Hyūga and the Uchiha. Being a part of one of those clans, Ryuu knew all the people in the rest of them. After all, his lack of speech was made up by his above average observation skills. He remembered that about a year ago, there was a girl from the Akimichi clan who left the village, and this girl seemed to match the descriptions. No, he was sure now, this was the girl. He had seen her before in the village, but recently he never caught sight of her anymore.

As the girl got closer, Ryuu wondered, what should he do? Force her to come back home? But he was not exactly interested in her, so why would he bother... She could just live her life, and he could live his. But what if later, he regretted it? Also, she belonged to one of the four noble clans; it was only right for her to belong there... Confused, Ryuu took out his notebook and started scribbling in it, as speaking was not going to work.

Stop right there. I know you originate from Konoha, and that you left about a year. What is it that you do now? Unfortunately, for both you and I, I may have to capture you and take you back home. Your clan needs you.

Before the girl reached mid range from him, Ryuu drew a little mouse with ink on the paper. As it emerged out, Ryuu ripped out the page and gave it to the mouse, who accepted it in his mouth. As the girl was in mid range of him, Ryuu commanded the mouse to hurry over to her and give her the paper which he had written on.

(Dōjutsu: Byakugan) Eye Technique: The All Seeing White Eye

Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Byakugan is the dōjutsu kekkei genkai of the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki clans, inherited from Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Bearers of this Dõjutsu have almost featureless white eyes. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge as the blood flow to their eyes is increased. While having the Byakugan deactivated, shinobi with have a normal eyesight and no special addition to their vision. While low rank Hyugas will need to perform a sequence of hand seals ( Horse → Tiger with lifting just index fingers → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Snake with the right index finger lifted straight up) to activate their Byakugan, Hyuga masters and Otsutsuki clan members will be able to do so without the need for any hand seals and even have it active passively for long periods of time. Once activated, the user gains access to all of the abilities the Byakugan bestows upon them. While, like other Dojutsu, its main ability is to see chakra and the chakra flow in sentient beings, the Byakugan adds a complete new detail and dimension to that ability. Not only can they see chakra flow, but also the circulatory system and even the 361 tenketsu (even of their own). Added to this ability, once activated the Byakugan grants the user a near perfect field of vision 360º around himself (up to long-range if they're a master). This field of vision has only one blind spot; slightly above the 3rd thoracic vertebrae and facing backwards. The last ability the Byakugan has is the ability to zoom in and out, focusing on specific things, piercing beyond matter and energy alike. This specific ability allows the user to see pass most barriers as well as physical matter (like rock walls, ground, etc) but also energy, being able to focus beyond chakra that might be in front of them or other energies. The zooming ability is enhanced as the user becomes more adept at using his eyes and can even reach distances above 20kms away.
Note: For Hyugas, activation spends a move from the users own move count but once the user reaches Sannin Rank and has gained mastery over Gentle Fist for 1 month, he can activate it passively without spending a move. Because of its low chakra cost to maintain, the user can keep it active throughout the whole fight as long as he has chakra and stamina to do so.
Note: Genjutsu that requires Eye Contact when used against a Byakugan user requires direct eye contact between enemy pupil and user's pupil
Note: Hyugas must be activated to use Gentle Fist (Jyuken)
Note: Its tracking abilities are equal to that of 3 Tomoe Sharingan.
Note: Only Hyugas possess the ability to utilize Jyuken, However, all Otsutsuki clan members possess the ability of passive activation.

Approached by a dark mysterious figure years ago, and beaten in battle, Annie had to submit. In order for her to keep her life and that of her family, she had to do one thing, betray her village and kill a member of her clan, retrieve his DNA. Konohagakure was her home, the only home she'd ever known. She had trained there, had a family, now all lost. She did what had to be done, but it was covered up. Only the ANBU knew exactly what happened. Marked as a traitor by the powers that be, Annie found herself traveling like a fugitive, and the mysterious figure now out of the picture as well. However, showing himself once more, the man tasked Annie with a new mission. Retrieval of the famed Byakugan, for..personal reasons. She didn't ask questions, knowing that if she dared stand against this man, even with her new found abilities, she could perhaps not beat him. However it was obvious he was planning something..

Images of her family back home flashed before her eyes, and then the deal became so much more personal. Retrieve the Byakugan, and you shall be set free, he said. Her large blue eyes gleaned with hope. Finally, she could return home, even if imprisoned, she would see her family once more. With this in mind, Annie scoured the Ninja World in hope of finding one who possessed the fabled eyes, and lo and behold. Before her, a young boy emerges. His eyes, he had the fabled Byakugan. Utilizes her own skills of observation, Annie didn't notice any other people around. Secluded, alone. Now was the perfect time to take him on, and retrieve the eyes for the man..the mysterious man. The young boy started scribbling onto paper, and then created a small creature that dashed towards Annie. Being as cautious as ever, Annie lashes out a chain from beneath her clothes, which blasts towards the mouse, destroying it with ease, and slamming into the paper. The chain is retracted towards her. With a quick scan, she understood now. This boy, of course from the Hyuga clan, had heard of her. She didn't pay much mind to anyone back home, so she didn't know him. Which was a good thing, she would not feel anything from his death. His death would set her free. A smile crossed onto her face. If only he understood what was going on, would he still be so eager to help? No, of course not. This is a dog eat dog world. Only the strong survive.

"I'm sorry...you can try, but I can guarantee that you won't make it out alive."

Annie says, her voice as stoic as ever. Positioning her body in a fighting stance, she indicated the start of the bout. Her opponent might be young, but she grew up with the idea of never underestimating anyone, despite their size or outward appearance. Looks could fool a person. One her person, Annie carried a multitude of weapons, including a pre-made Scythe strapped to her back, as well the chains wrapped all around her body beneath her clothes, able to be utilized through mental command. She was as ready as ever.

 

[Ryóma]

What a cautious person. Ryuu watched, a little amused, as the girl destroyed the little mouse, although she read what he had to say. Won't make it out alive? Was she underestimating the Hyūga clan? She'd see about that. Ryuu became more serious after she made this comment, but the Akimichi's fighting pose indicated that she too was ready for a fight. Very well, he would strike her first. But, Ryuu's aim was not to kill her; only to capture. After all, he had to bring her back to the village alive.

Restricting her movements would probably be a start. Taking out a jar of ink, Ryuu poured it into the ground whilst standing, looking like a little kid trying to play with paints or something. As the chakra-infused ink was absorbed into the ground, it traveled towards the girl, and emerged from underneath her as several snakes made of ink. They climbed upon her, binding her. If she tried to break them, they would only reform around her, unless she destroyed them with something they could not handle.

Description: The user will pour Ink onto the ground, and summon several ink snakes to strike from underground and restrain the opponents. Should the opponent prove to be strong enough to break the binds, the snakes can reform around the target, making struggling pointless.

But this was not all. Ryuu was sure the girl would not be so weak to be restricted by just this. He had to trick her. Thus, he placed upon the blond-eyed girl an illusion in which snakes appeared beneath her and bound to her, much like his ink snakes. Ryuu thought that perhaps she would be tricked by this Genjutsu since snakes would already be around her. And even if she defeated them by that stage, having more come out of the ground shouldn't be too surprising. Furthermore, unlike his ink snakes, these ones would immobilize the girl.

(Genjutsu: Oshitsubusu Hebi Kubire) - Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction

Description: The user puts the opponent into a genjutsu which has snakes appear beneath the opponent to constrict them and with the users command, they crush the opponent. In reality, the opponent is immobilized and takes damage due to the stress on his mind.

Once the Akimichi was immobilized, Ryuu rushed towards the girl, and stopped directly in front of her in the Gentle fist stance. He started to jab at her tenketsu with his middle and index fingers, inserting chakra into those places. Once the first strike hit, the girl would be unable to move at all. Such was the nature of this technique. This caused the chakra flow to those tenketsu to be cut off, resulting in the inability to use chakra for a while. Ryuu thought this would be best to do, as dealing with an Akimichi would be a bit annoying, and at the same time, this technique would not fatally harm her.

(Shugo Hakke Rokujuuyonshou) - Protective 8 Trigrams 64 Strikes

Her observations as keen as usual. The ink dropped onto the ground, and having seen his abilities, she knew that he was a Hyuga capable of somehow using Ink Ninjutsu. Something she had never heard of..hm. She wasn't a normal Akimichi either though, considering. Nonetheless, she had to face her adversary, however, killing him too brutally would damage his eyes. She needed them, intact and still working. Hopefully he wasn't like the Hyuga who sealed the Byakugan if they died. If need be, she'd take them when he was still alive. As gruesome as it was, her life, her family, was at stake.

Suddenly, from beneath her, the Ink emerged in the form of Snakes. It aimed to bind her as it moved around her body, she could only smile at the idea at the idea that he did not start with the idea to kill. No, he wanted to constrain. Mistake. She had an idea in mind, not sure how powerful the snakes were, nor if they could cause damage. Her train of thought was interrupted by the manifestation of snakes. No smoke, no summoning ritual, she could see them, and feel them, however, they cast no shadow. They left no marks in the very ground they emerged from. Illusion. Annie would draw into her, a single chakra sphere. This however, did not require movement and was done with ease, the sphere manifesting behind her, and entering her body. As fast as it entered her body, it would be unleashed outwards, from all her Tenketsu.

The sudden burst sent chakra spheres rushing out, not only destroying the Ink Snakes, but also breaking the illusion at the same time. She had been in a similar situation before, and as such, she had gained enough abilities to actually help her out should she face such problems again. Nonetheless, the spheres would continue onto the advancing boy, hopefully he can counter them, as Annie herself blasts forward following them. As she does so, she pulls back her right arm and thrusts forward. In doing so, she focuses her chakra into her arm, causing it to expand into a massive size and grab onto the boy's brittle and small body, however, keeping watch should he react to the spheres. He was quite smart though, combining his Ink snakes and a Genjutsu that manifests snakes. Perhaps she had underestimated the boy, and perhaps there was more to him. He didn't say anything though, perhaps he was just a quiet kid. Annie's mind wandered for a moment. Does he have a family back home..

It didn't matter. She had learnt that if you don't do something yourself, no one will do it for you. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Today was going the day she was going to get those eyes. Come hell or high water.

"It's inevitable. You don't stand a chance."

She says, sighing as she does. She had seen his type before. Not the type to give up easy. No, this was the persistent type.

(Musha Shukke Fuu: Yōsei no hōkō) | Warrior Monk's Way: Sidhe's Roar

Description: This is one of the strongest Warrior Monk's Way techniques which require from user great knowledge in using the style. The technique is not preceded with any kind of movement made by the user but rather just absorption of a single chakra sphere. This increases potential effectiveness of the techniques whilst decreasing the time needed for it to be completely performed. Once the user absorbs a sphere of chakra into their body they would immediately afterwards release it from each tenketsu of their body, creating an omni-directional blast which easily reaches mid range distance from initial place of its release to far off point. However this blast has a slight twist to it, due to it not being completely uniformed but rather assembled of a great amount of smaller sphere which rapidly spread so to give out a blast effect. Due to nature of how this technique is performed, it can easily break through up to A rank genjutsu whilst simultaneously continuing with the offense.

( Bubun Baika No Jutsu ) - Partial Multi-size Technique

Description: A practical application of the Multi-Size Technique which lets one expand their own body. The point of swelling a single part of the body is to use the weight to increase the power of one's physical attacks. Any body part may be augmented this way, but for ease of use, the arms and legs tend to be chosen quite frequently. The speed of the expansion is exceedingly sudden, which makes it extremely difficult to avoid. Like the majority of the Akimichi clan's techniques, this one requires a considerable amount of chakra. This jutsu lasts for 2 turns.
NOTE:Must be a member of the Akimichi Clan

PS: The chakra spheres are neutral to elemental natures.

 

[Ryóma]

It seemed that the girl had realised she was in an illusion pretty fast, for she performed an interesting technique where she inserted chakra into her body to dispel the Genjutsu. Ryuu could see it all with his Byakugan. He witnessed how a sphere of chakra formed behind her, then was inserted into her body. The chakra was then released through all the chakra pores on her body, not only destroying the snakes, but continuing on towards Ryuu as smaller spheres of chakra. His Byakugan told him even more though; he could tell how strong the technique was. Realising this, he decided to use an equally as strong technique to first counter the chakra.

So, performing a single hand seal, Ryuu molded a large amount of chakra in his lungs, before expelling it out of his mouth as a large stream of flames, which was wide along its range so that it could nullify the spheres of chakra.

(Katon: Gōen no Jutsu) - Fire Release: Great Flame Technique

Description: The user does one handseal and inhales while molding a great amount of chakra into their lungs and expelling a large stream of flames from their mouth. The user has control over the concentration of the technique, being able to produce a narrow jet of flames, highly concentrated or one that will widen along its range. The flames are hot enough to quickly evaporate large quantities of water within a relatively short amount of time.

Whilst he was doing this, he noticed the girl moving forward. However, she would only be able to come as far as the fire, or else she would get burnt. Then, using the cover of the fire, the Hyūga performed a hand seal, before seemingly vanishing from the place. However, he was still there; just that he had used the reflections of light to make him invisible. This gave him a moment to think. It seemed that the girl was pretty serious, and that simply restraining her would not work. She was far too strong for that. As he was thinking about all this, he was moving counterclockwise, so further away from the cliff's edge. He aimed to become almost side on to the girl. The place where he stopped was mid range to a bit in front of the girl's left, and he faced almost directly at the ocean.

(Meisaigakure no Jutsu) - Hiding with Camouflage Technique

Description: This is a ninja escape technique that allows the user after performing the Tiger hand seal to control how light is reflected around their body with chakra inflections. The technique also erases the user's scent and shadow, and is usable on any terrain, making it ideal not only for covert maneuvers but also offensive strikes. Perceiving the user's position is possible only for ninja who are astute enough to observe minute variations within their surrounding environment, such as distortions of air currents in the immediate vicinity or distinguishing sounds, i.e. footsteps etc. However, the usefulness of this ability can be entirely negated by those with special vision or sensory skills. The Second Tsuchikage, Mū's mastery of this technique helped earn him the moniker "Non-Person" seemingly having neither form nor chakra while the technique was active. Thus, he could not be sensed through traditional means.
Note: Technique lasts a total of 3 turns

In this position, Ryuu was all set. He was going to push the girl off the cliff. Sometimes you have to go to extreme measures to capture someone. Gathering chakra in his right arm, Ryuu focused on the girl's stomach with his Byakugan, whilst facing his palm forward. (If the camouflage technique can't be maintained whilst he performs this, then I guess this is where he would become visible.) Then, at a high speed, a burst of chakra blasted from Ryuu's palm, onto the girl's body. He intentionally missed her vital points, but due to the angle at which he stood at, the girl would be flung over the edge of the cliff, or right to the edge. But, Ryuu needed her alive. So, if she did fall, he already had a plan to catch her before she fell to her death.

(Hakke Kūshō) Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm

Description: This technique is similar in practice to Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven, but has a specific target rather than a general area. To perform it, the user precisely pinpoints the enemy's vital points with the Byakugan and releases a high-speed palm thrust. A "vacuum shell" compressed using the Gentle Fist is formed to attack the opponent's vitals from a distance, blowing them off their feet with tremendous force before they even notice they were hit.

Just as she thought. The Byakugan would come in handy for this kid, being able to see the chakra, despite it being done in secret, he understood what he had to do to take on the spheres. The fire met with the spheres, the two cancelling out, however, her vision was obstructed. And like every other shinobi, this was an advantage to the kid. Annie simply places a tag on the ground, and forms the confrontation hand seal, causing a barrier to form and detect everything within it. Of course, the kid would be able to see the barrier, and it would alert her immediately of his presence.

Smart of him to hide his presence and aim for a stealthy technique, however, she had fought many like him before. Oh no, he was going to taste her wrath. Annie would immediately focus chakra beneath him, causing Water to blast upwards, and disrupt his initial process, as she would run toward him and thrust forward her right hand once more, which steadily increases its size to that of massive proportions. Around the fist, the chains from beneath her clothes would wrap, enhancing it, allowing her to deal more damage as well as be prepared should he react to the fist. With her left hand, Annie would launch towards the boy two kunai, both attached to a elastic wire, that allows her to maneuver the kunai's path. The kunai would arc from his right, and the fist would come from his left. Both kunai carry explosive tags as well.

However, before launching the initial kunai, Annie would focus her Sound chakra into them. Once they explode, they would release a screeching noise, capable of causing disorientation for a while. Long enough for Annie to capitalize on it. Oh, she had a plan. And it was well thought out. However, she still had the thought in the back of her mind, that this boy might be hiding something. A special skill perhaps? Or perhaps he was still holding back. Perhaps he didn't have the blood lust that Annie did. Hm, her mind wandered aimlessly.

(Kyōkai Kekkai no Jutsu) - Boundary Barrier Technique

Description: This is a detection type barrier which is simply a more advanced version of the (Kekkai: Tengai Hojin) - Barrier: Dome Method Formation technique and that can be used to surround an area and allows the user to monitor a certain area covering from the sky to underneath the ground creating a sphere. The user will create a tag with the 許可 (Kyoka) Kanji and place it on the ground, doing the confrontation hand seal afterwards to activate it. After the barrier is erected, the user, if inside it, will be able to detect any enemy inside it, even if he hiding his presence. After that, anyone who enters or leaves the barrier is instantly detected as well as anything that moves inside it. Techniques that mask the users presence are ineffective at avoiding detection as the barrier focuses on movement and displacement of matter, not solely on chakra detection. The barrier can also be moved according to the requirements of the user by moving the tag.

(Suiton: Mizu Hashira Suiryoku no Jutsu) - Water Release: Water Pillar Thrust Technique

(Ototon: Banshī no sensō Kurai) - Sound Release: Banshee's War Cry]

Description: The user infuses any object capable of exploding, detonating, etc, or able to create an exploding sound with a coating of sound chakra. Objects coated by this technique gain a distinct sound that is easily heard. Once contact is made with another object (such as an opponent's technique, a landmark, etc) the infused object would explode like normal (unless it's an object that requires no physical contact to create an explosive sound, such as an explosive tag or smoke bomb). However, the infusion of sound amplifies the sound waves released in order to produce a screeching sound that can affect those who hear it. The effects created by the amplified sound waves vary by distance. If the target is within short range of an explosion they will experience deafness and moderate disorientation for two turns. If the target is within mid-range of the explosion they will experience deafness and have a mild headache for a single turn. If the target is long range from the explosion, there are no adverse effects. The user is capable of negating these adverse effects by coating his own ears within sound chakra. This will effect all targets within range of the explosion, with the exception of the user.

Ryuu's fire worked woderfully. Not only did it neutralise the chakra coming at him, it also allowed himself to be hidden from the girl. However, upon camouflaging himself, Ryuu noticed the girl put a tag onto the floor and perform a hand seal, after which some kind of sphere emerged. Looking at it closely, he could see that it was not harmful. But before he had time to do anything, the boy found himself being hoisted up by water underneath him. As he flew into the air, he saw the girl approaching him, and he could see the chakra in her arm, making it bigger. Thanks to his Byakugan, Ryuu could be alerted about the enemy's movements whilst they were still molding chakra.

To escape the arm that was getting larger, Ryuu channeled chakra to the tattoo for his summoning, bit his thumb and placed blood upon it. Immediately, a raptor emerged underneath the Hyūga who was in the air, flying upwards with him till they were just out of mid range of the girl. That was close... Her arm had become big, and she seemed to be holding two kunai with explosive tags. But of course, Ryuu could see that there was something more sinister in those kunai.

(Moukinrui no Kuchiyose: Shinatobe) — Raptor Summoning: Shinatobe

Description: Shinatobe is a female raptor capable of human speech with a size roughly equal to that of Sasuke's Hawk, allowing the summoner to ride atop of her. Shinatobe is a specialist of the wind element, being capable of using all wind techniques the user knows up to and including S-Rank by merely flapping her wings or releasing them from her beak. Shinatobe is also capable of cladding her entire body, or simply parts of it in razor sharp wind chakra, capable of cutting her target as well as defending her from incoming techniques. At the same time as Shinatobe was flying up with him, Ryuu patted her head to show his appreciation, before taking out a scroll. He drew upon it a dozen lions which when they emerged, dropped down onto the girl from the sky. Following this, Ryuu also drew a dragon, and this too would fall on top of her. If she did not defend, she would be crushed underneath all these animals. But Ryuu realised by now that this would not kill her anyways. To capture this Akimichi, he would have to fight as if he wanted to kill.

Not as quiet as her summoner, Shinatobe did speak.

Knowing that the girl would probably not have that hard of a time dealing with the animals, Ryuu decided to make the fight a little more intense. Using the distraction the creatures had provided, Ryuu would jump off his summon, molding chakra in his right palm as he did so. This would create a ball of fast, rotating chakra in his palm. As he drew close to the girl, Ryuu would bring his arm back, and then bring it fowards quickly, slamming the Rasengan into the girl's chest. However, he would only do this after the animals fell on top of the girl, so if she repelled them, which means they would not have touched her yet, he would still be on the raptor at the time. Shinatobe remained in the sky through all this.

Seeing him summon forth his creature, Annie knew this wasn't going to be easy anymore. She had a few summonings of her own, but none that could fly. Air based summons were usually quite annoying to deal with, though coupled with her Akimichi skills, she wouldn't have a problem, as she could rise above the height any creature could reach. Within her, she could feel it. The blood lust, she was getting to the point of no return. She was about to be serious. Without a second thought in her mind, and with the initiation of the creature, she would react.

She yanked her left hand, still attached to the wire of the kunai, allowing it to travel upward and explode right beneath the summoning and the boy, unleashing the focused Sound chakra inside it, and causing disorientation of both the beast and the boy. A smart tactic from her side, as the wire could barely be seen from that distance, and even disoriented, the boy could be dangerous still. So she would proceed with caution. This would aim to disrupt his next technique.

Even if he didn't, Annie would focus chakra into her right hand once more, increasing its size tremendously and with ease. She would breathe carefully as she delivers the forward strike, in quick succession with the massive hand, still armed with the protection from the chains, which could lash out at any moment. Should he have continued with his attack, the Ink creations would be utterly destroyed, splashing Ink all over, and not delaying the demise of the summon.

Just as Shinatobe was flying upwards and away, Ryuu, who was watching everything with his Byakugan, saw the two kunai coming up at them, as they were attached to a string. He still thought there was something fishy about them; that strange chakra he could see within them. Tapping Shinatobe to alert her to the threat, the pair of kunai suddenly exploded beneath them, and Ryuu could see the strange chakra emerge from it, traveling in an omnipotent direction. His eyes could see the danger they held within them, and he could also deduce what this attack was weak to. Shinatobe was perfect for defending against this; being a specialist of the wind element after all. Since Ryuu had tapped her, Shinatobe knew that whatever Ryuu could see, it was really dangerous, so she responded by flapping her wings. Immediately, a large wall of five tornadoes formed around the pair on the sides the attack came from, thus blocking it from reaching them. The tornadoes also went on to travel to the girl, and the raptor also moved further away from the cliff's edge as well as from the girl. Even if she decided to expand her arm, it would not help her against these powerful tornadoes.

But Ryuu would not just sit idle atop his summon. As the tornadoes traveled towards the Akimichi, Ryuu jumped off Shinatobe, also further away away from the cliff's edge. As he jumped off, Shinatobe called out to him.

Be careful master! This is indeed a strong foe. I will assist you in any way I can.

Ryuu nodded his head in acknowledgement, before landing on the ground. He was glad to have such a helpful summon. As his feet landed on the ground (the stomp), Ryuu sent his fire chakra into it, before breathing fire into the tunnel that had formed between him and the girl. The fire, which would end up becoming molten rock, then erupted out of the ground underneath the Akimichi, engulfing her in it. Coupled with the wind attack, the fire would probably be stronger than usual.

Description: The user first stomps on the ground, using his fire chakra and making an underground tunnel from between themselves and the opponent. But that was not all. Ryuu still wanted to send the girl plunging off the cliff. For he knew that this much would not be enough to stop her. He had seen that during the fight thus far. So, performing one hand seal, Ryuu caused the ground under the girl to crumble away, in a semi circle from her position to the edge of the cliff. This would send her plunging down the cliff, whilst Ryuu would remain on top as he did not collapse the earth under him. If she did fall, Ryuu already planned to catch her and capture her. Shinatobe remained in the sky, watching her summoner closely in case he needed her service. She was ready any time.

Descripton: The user will do one hand seal and cause nearby earth structures (either natural occurring ones on the field (such as cave ceilings, cliffs, etc), man made (buildings, etc) or jutsu made (up to C-Rank active structures)) to collapse and fall. This technique allows the ninja to control nearby stone and rock and dislodge any vulnerable or sensitive spots, causing the structure to collapse. This can be especially useful if in a cave or a stone lodging. The technique can loosen the rocks and cause them to come raining down on whomever is trapped inside. The damage depends on the size of the cavern or rock lodging above or nearby the target and not on the amount of chakra used which doesn't need to be high. A large cave with a thick ceiling can easily do the physical damage equivalent to an A-Rank technique but due to the damage not being focused or chakra fueled, its also easily defendable.

It seems he was smart. Nonetheless, she would not falter in my offense, as the creation of the Wind tornadoes only led her to stay on the offensive, and keep on pressuring him. Killing him wasn't a full option, as she needed those eyes. Without a lot of effort, Annie would form several hand seals and focus her Fire based chakra into the ground. In doing so, she unleashes a massive burst of Fire from beneath, aiming to easily handle the Wind tornadoes as well as head on to the boy upon his flying summon. Of course, aiming to cinder the summon alive and possibly narrow the boy's escape, leaving extremely harmed. The technique is enhanced in the same time frame with a single hand seal, enhancing the Fire based technique, making it stronger than the Wind, allowing it punch through with ease.

Description: Doom's Devour is a wind technique which is used to supplement techniques of elements which traits are one of heat or coolness within reason. It can be applied to both basic and advanced elemental natures. By knowing that each body that produces heat creates an air-cloak around themselves as to be capable of protecting from being affected by real temperature by feeling one which is eather few degrees cooler or hotter, user would use wind chakra as to eliminate it before the intial techniques reaches them. With performance of a single hand seal, user would coat a technique with wind chakra which function would be the one of affecting the air-cloak which is produced around entites. By doing this, the temperature that is felt by the technique intially sent would either increase or decrease (depending on the element used) due to opposing technique/entity not being in possession of the air-cloak which they are creating as to cushion the climate. So if a scorching technique is affected by the wind, it will not increase its size, flames and similar, however temperature which is felt by the opposing party would increase due to them not possessing the usual air-cloak which protects them from the said conditions. This technique is initiated with a performance of a single hand seal and due to its nature being the one to supplement other techniques once used it will happen in corresponding time-frame to the technique which it was used with. This would increase the damage of hot/cold techniques due to the increase in heat or coolness which is felt by those who are not enveloped by the air cloak.

Ryuu had been about to jump off Shinatobe to perform a fire attack when he noticed something with his Byakugan. In the ground below him and Shinatobe, a great amount of chakra was being manifested. It was that of the fire nature, and it was rather powerful too. Possessing the Byakugan, Ryuu could see all these features before the attack even came out. Thus, he was able to prepare himself earlier than the average ninja. Letting Shinatobe know that it was time for her to return home, Ryuu created a clone from stone which came out of his mouth. This happened at around the same time the fire came out of the ground. As soon as the clone was created, it grabbed the boy and threw him with full force into the air, somewhere above the girl. Ryuu was thrown in such a way that he was angled upwards instead of downwards so as to make sure the fire did not reach him. Shinatobe disappeared before the fire could touch her, and the clone crumbled away into the fire.

Description: The user creates their clone out of stone that he spits from his mouth. Unlike other types of clones the rock clones don’t disappear after being defeated but rather crumble like rubble. These clones can also be used to create a clone of other people than themselves but do not take on the abilities of the copied person. They can use up to C-rank Earth techniques and are very resistant to physical damage such as that from Taijutsu which they can endure up to B-rank.

Once he was in the air basically directly above the Akimichi, around 20 metres above, Ryuu began his descent. But he did not just descend without doing anything. Taking out five kunai, each having a chilli pepper bomb attached to them, the Hyūga flung them down at the girl, throwing them at different angles around her to make it harder for her to defend against them. As the kunai neared her, Ryuu performed a single handseal, causing many more of those kunai to be formed. They all carried chilli pepper bombs on them too. Once they made contact with the girl, they exploded and released their chilli contents on her. She would experience great irritation in her eyes. Also, the cuts she sustained from the kunai would burn fiercely.

Description: The user takes out five kunai, each with a single Chili Pepper Bomb attached. Next, the kunai are flung at various angles in general direction. The result is a barrage of kunai, with even cloned kunai retaining the originals' Chili Pepper Bombs. On contact, the bombs will explode and release the their contents, which'll greatly irritate the eyes of those caught within the release. In addition, any cuts sustained from the kunai will begin to have a burning sensation due to the chili pepper entering the wound.

Since the kunai traveled faster than Ryuu as he had thrown them, he reached the place a few seconds later. However, the contents of the chilli would still be around, so Ryuu closed his eyes. Since he had the Byakugan, he could still see everything though as if his eyes were still open. As he reached the ground in front of the girl who would be troubled by the chilli, and most likely unable to see him, Ryuu took the the opportunity created by the kunai to perform another attack; one unique to those of his clan.

Gathering chakra at his fingers, he started to attack the Akimichi's tenketsu, gaining strength and momentum with each strike. This attack was unique in that once it was initiated, the girl would be paralysed. Once all her 361 tenketsu would be closed, she would be unable to use chakra for a while after. Ryuu watched silently to see how his foe would deal with this.

Escaping the Fire through some form of propulsion was quite smart, I couldn't help but be impressed once more. However, flying through the air at free fall, not a smart idea. Nonetheless, with him emerging from the Fire and launching the kunai, she could see that these kunai seemed odd, and nevertheless, was never the type to take on kunai with others. Rather do something unorthodox, Annie would focus some of her chakra to her feet as she launches herself upward to her left, manifesting a flat platform of chakra there, that she bounces off, dodging the kunai as well as using her chakra chains to mentally hit them away (should they come close). This is done simultaneously, as she manifests another platform, and bounces off it, going higher and higher with greater speed each time. At the same time as this is done, Annie would manifest a dormant seal on her person, passively. This causes her to shift in and out of motion, making her difficult to track, even with his fabled eyes. With her coming closer as he descends, and she ascends, Annie unleashes a colossal roar, unleashing a large amount of Sound based chakra.

At each successive platform, the user’s speed increases by 25% (up to a max of 100% of their base speed) because of his continually increasing speed being accelerated by the springs. Description: The user will passively apply a seal with the Kanji for "Madness" on their body. This technique will both distort how their body but also their techniques appear. A barrier of chakra will form over their body in the form of a black haze of chakra cloaks the user's body without obscuring their sight. The haze casts anyone who looks upon it in an external genjutsu (A-Rank) that constantly shifts the user's outline like an off-focus photograph, thereby obscuring any discerning marks or features. The mist-like illusion also causes his image to double or triple randomly, making him appear to be a hallucination. It essentially creates the effect of the user's body flickering from side to side across a one-meter area too fast for the eyes to track without the creation of after-images. This isn't to be confused with the user moving back and forth, this effect can solely be attributed to the genjutsu induced by the haze and will occur even if the user is standing still. This throws off techniques which require a clear line of sight or concentration on the user's position. This effect will occur regardless of the opponent's tracking speed. As for the user's techniques, their distorted image will depend on it's state of matter. Solid techniques will appear pitch black with red lines of light across them, liquid techniques will appear as blood, gaseous techniques will appear as a black smog and energy-based techniques will appear a dark-red colour. This lasts until deactivated.

Falling from the sky after throwing the chilli pepper kunai at the girl, Ryuu kept watching diligently through his Byakugan, and noticed immediately when she gathered chakra at her feet. She then jumped into the air towards his right, expertly dodging the kunai he had thrown. However, there was something a bit strange about her. For some reason, her body looked like it was shifting in and out of motion, across a one meter wide range. Ryuu was pretty sure he was not hallucinating... She moved really fast as well. However, Ryuu could still see her general location. And the chakra platforms she created and jumped off of, albeit a dark red colour, were clearly visible to the Hyūga, alerting him to her position and direction. It appeared that she was coming towards him.

But whilst he was observing all of this, so at the time he first noticed her jump, Ryuu swiftly drew one large hawk, which emerged as 15 meters in size. It flew down below to Ryuu's right, to where the girl was approaching from. Since Ryuu could see her general position, that is where he directed the hawk to fly. Due to it's size, it was large enough to intercept her path even if it could not see her. At the same time that the hawk emerged, so before it started it's flight towardsher, Ryuu took out a flash bomb and threw it over his head, attempting to blind the girl. This would make it easier for the hawk to get closer to her.

Description: A more powerful version of Ninja Art Beast Imitation, the user uses his Ink to create significantly larger animals. These animals can reach up to 15 meters in size and range in their selection. The user can create up to 3 gigantic animals.

As the girl was traveling fast towards Ryuu and the hawk, the hawk did not have to travel much before it reached short range of the general location of the girl. When it did though, Ryuu manipulated the ink within the hawk to completely change its structure. Instead of a hawk, what now appeared were multiple sharp spears which went on to attack the Akimichi. Since the hawk had been 15 meters in size, the amount of spears created were a lot, and covered a wide expanse, so it would be difficult for her to escape them. That, along with the fact that Ryuu had thrown a flash bomb upon creating the hawk, would make it hard for her to see as well as know what was coming towards her.

Somewhere around the time that the multiple spears striked the target, Ryuu became closer to the ground than her. As he neared the ground, he closed is eyes so that the chilli would not irritate him, but he could still see thanks to his Byakugan.

 

[Detective L]

It seemed no matter of attack she had used, the boy was equally capable of both defending, and taking her on. Annie wasn't the type to give up though. As the Hawk is drawn, Annie readies herself to take on the Hawk. However, suddenly, the boy unleashes a flash bomb of sorts, blinding her. She couldn't help but smile, his eyes really helped him a lot, didn't it? However, her Boundary Barrier still allowed her to sense everything within it, and as such, her being blinded wasn't much of a deal. The Hawk drawing closer and as they are formed into spears, Annie performs an upward spin kick, with so much force, that it creates a tornado. However, although it seems to be made of Wind, it is merely the force and the air currents due to the kick, creating a dragon that aims to swallow the boy as it destroys his spears/Hawk Ink creations.

Landing on the ground, Annie simply awaited, knowing that the boy had several tricks up his sleeve, and would probably survive this. A smile crossed onto her face, she was finally having some fun again.

This is an ultimate taijutsu technique created by the legendary taijutsu master Chen. It appears to be initiated by an upward spin kick at which point it quickly becomes like tornado. Forming into a dragon with long whiskers, it attacks the target aiming to swallow them, at which point they are cut by the razor sharp air currents inside the attack. After initiating the attack, the user appears to remain shielded within the base of the tornado as the outward surface of the dragon seems to be solid enough for a person to impact and rebound off of, making the only way to enter the technique once it has been initiated is by being swallowed. However, there is one distinct weakness to the technique. Since the Dragon God's real form (and what it basically is) is that of an ordinary tornado, though cosmetically shaped into a dragon, its attack power is based on rotation. If one enters the attack's centre (Dragon's Eye) while rotating at high speed, such as Lee's One-Man Front Lotus, it can be dispersed without inflicting damage. The technique, while seemingly similar to Wind Release, is actually just the users own physical power (through the use of the spinning kick) shaping the air into currents through movement. It is, however, enough to fight off elemental ninjutsu of the same rank and below.

Fast approaching the ground, Ryuu looked in wonder at the kick performed by the girl. It was so powerful that a dragon actually emerged from it. As the dragon approached Ryuu below, he landed on the ground and turned his head to face it, before releasing a large amount of water from his mouth at it. The stream of water went to destroy the dragon, as well as go on to hit the girl. At the same time as he did this, Ryuu had swiftly taken out a kunai with a paper tag and thrown it at the tag the girl had placed on the ground a few minutes ago. It had annoyed him the whole time, not being able to hide... This was some few metres to his left, and his back faced the cliff edge at a 45 degree angle, with his left side closer to it.

(Suiton: Suidan no Jutsu) - Water Release: Water Bullet Technique

Description: The user inhales and molds a great amount of chakra into their chest, exhaling a very large quantity of water in the form of a powerful torrent towards their intended target. The stream of water is so powerful and concentrated it can rip through most obstacles in its path. The stream itself contains so much concentrated water that it can flood medium to large sized depressions of the battle field in relatively short amounts of time.

After hitting the dragon and the Akimichi with the water stream, she would have landed on the ground by now as well, if she had defended or not defended. Again, the Hyūga released water from his mouth, although this time it was not harmful. Instead, the air all around started to fill with a thick mist, creating an eerie silence. For Ryuu, it was no problem as he could still see, but he knew the girl would be uncomfortable with it.

(Kirigakure no Jutsu) - Hiding in Mist Technique

Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.

Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

Upon the creation of the mist, Ryuu created a clone besides him, whilst he himself discretely slipped away to the edge of the cliff, around ten metres away. Like a rock climber, Ryuu went beneath the edge and stayed there just a couple of meters below the surface, using chakra to stick his hands and feet to the rock. Also, Ryuu had not gone back in a straight line, but at a 45 degree angle to the girls left so that if she did decide to attack the place, he would not be under immediate attack. Also, since this was done under the mist's cover, it would not seem as if a clone had been created.

(Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shadow Clone Technique

Description: The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and himself and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clones, a max number of 4, are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after hit by a strong enough force, returning 10% of its individual chakra to the user. Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the original with Sharingan, Byakugan, Rinnegan or normal Chakra Sensing. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones.

Meanwhile, the clone, immediately upon its creation, took out two kunai which were tagged with explosive notes. Throwing one of them towards the girl, the clone almost immediately after threw the other one in such a manner that it hit the first, changing its trajectory slightly so that it appeared someone had thrown it from the other side. It now approached the girl more from her right instead of her left. Also, the second kunai was hit upwards in an arc, going a few meters up before starting to descend above the Akimichi. Using the noise created by the explosions as they hit the girl or anything else as cover, the clone dashed from his current position to a few meters away from the girl's left, traveling counter clockwise as he did so. In the background, the real Ryuu watched and was ready to intervene if he had to.
