Now from what I gather Feitan first attempted to kick Taek who turned himself to smoke to escape physical harm. From Klad's description of the kick alone, this was a very "all-in" motion where he swung it with enough force to break some rib bones and send Taek tumbling head over heels. I mention this because Taek turning into smoke to escape this plays a very important role in his counter. The force of Feitan's kick would be left unchecked as his would simply fly through Taek like he would through air. He would be thrown into an uncontrollable spin due to nothing stopping him. Essentially he do a full 360 in mid air by his own momentum, following such a "furiously" swung strike. Remember, this was how you (Klad) worded the kick:
Taking advantage of him being air-borne, he swinged his leg furiously aimed around Taek's ribs area. Such kick, enhanced with the removal of Leg Weights and the use of the Earth technique as well, it would stand as a 30 damage attack, enough to break the bones. After sending his adversary several meters away, Feitan completes a full rotation and lands on the surface.
And not to mention the earth casing would only make this spin even more detrimental. Nonetheless, Feitan realizes his folly and (I'm assuming) relinquished control of the earth technique to perform a Wind one. This is where it gets tricky. Based on what I highlighted earlier, about being thrown into a quick and uncontrollable spin, Feitan would not have the orientation or even balance needed to properly aim such a technique in such a small space in such short notice. At most he'd perform it while his body is spinning and end up firing his technique elsewhere entirely. Although, it is still possible that even during this spin, he still manages to get even some accuracy and put Taek in danger.
But Jay's counter would still follow through. Why? Based on your (Klad) attack, and how it was handled, it is simply inhuman to make a furious kick, hit nothing, and then recover to aim your arm and attack immediately after. But Jay on the other hand, he would be the most prepared of the two of you. And he would also have the balance and bearing necessary to counter fluidly after defending. My verdict is that you both miss your attacks and counters. Feitan would spin wildly to his left or right (you didn't specify which direction the kick was aimed) and fire off that wind technique in said direction, maybe even while spinning and Taek would push out his arm in a defensive manner with the intention to catch his wrist but would end up hitting Feitan in the side or back with the back of his palm. This would push Feitan away, seeing he is still in the air. Just a simple push really, something totally unintended.
But the technique Klad used in particular, was one used by Danzo Shimura during his Sasuke fight. As we see

, isn't like a simple projectile type attack that would miss, as I calculated, and then that's that. No, being a sort of sustained technique, Feitan would still have this going, even while he spinning. That makes it also a 100x deadlier than a straight frontal attack. Naturally, Feitan would then come around 360, with this technique still active to maim or even kill Taek, but the lad was smart and used chakra-less Taijutsu's accessibility to attack at the same time. The smoke pellets would go off in Feitan's side/back at the same time as the simple push of Defensive Crane and blow him back even further. Again, shotgun-like manner, right?
In real time, here's what would happen: Feitan swings at Taek's torso, seemingly missing his mark by kicking through nothing but air. Now still spinning in the air after missing, Feitan waves an arm in a crescent manner to conjure countless blades from his finger tips to form a large scythe. However, by this time Taek had already solidified and used the back of a wrist to push Feitan away in his spinning motion while releasing a few smoke pellets on him. The smoke pellets are B ranked in strength and carry a lot of hurt. This, directly clapping Feitan in the side/back of his torso as he spins would be, in my eyes, enough to cause him to end his wind technique almost as immediately as he started it based off sheer pain and surprise alone.
In the aftermath Feitan is pushed back a few meters away from Taek with slightly serious wounds to his side/back from the smoke pellets as a thick cloud of smoke surrounds them both (the pellets would go off, being "bombs" and all). I don't think the injury is fatal, but Feitan would be bleeding and in pain for the rest of the match, or until he stops it somehow. Either way, it's his turn to return the hurt now.
