Oph Brand



“Haha, it is I, the genius shinobi of the Brand Clan, Oph Brand! Be felled, villain!” came the cries of the man dressed in unassiming black garb, whom no one took seriously.

Forming the three handseals needed for the technique, but using his Sourceless Materialization Specialty, the Shinobi caused a dragon-like head to manifest from the ground infront of him, which churned the earth beneath it and fired a barrage of earthen blasts in the direction of the opponent.

Making a single handseal, though, the Shinobi quickly followed this by exhaling a steam of fire that ignited the earthen bullets, during them into globules of lava that burned brightly as they careened through the air, their immense heat setting ablaze everything in the vicinity of their landing.

Transitioning as he was exhaling a stream of fire, though, the Shinobi manipulates the steam after igniting the dragon constructs bullets to diverge and circle around, attempting to cut off escape routes from the dragons artillery with a wall of fire.

T'was odd, this Muggle had things betwixt! However, I never steered away from a bout. A merciful display perhaps - I would immediately react to his approach. The sudden blast of an Earthen head, enhanced with Fire, I would simply react with a single swipe of the wand.

"Expulso!"

The blue light streak would jet into the oncoming rock formations, causing a massive explosion of dramatic proportions - sending debris scattering about! Oh my, perhaps 'twas a bit too much for the poor Muggle, lost in his ways?

"Why oh why would you take attack me?"

Description: An explosive Sound projectile, the user channels Ototon chakra to an arm or held item and releases a destructive wave from it that takes a light blueish color. This wave appears as a thing jet that is aimed at an object directly, based on Clapping Hands jutsu. What differs from the canon and this variant, however, is the lack of sound used initially and the usage of it; forming as just a jet of compressed sound waves, upon contact with an object, the waves will expand rapidly as their frequencies does as well, matching that of the object struck. This causes a loud, audible explosion as the release of the Sound waves trigger a bomb like blast radius of 7 meters, causing a massive release of shrapnel from the object that hit that also impacts this same area. Because the explosion impacts this area, it causes enough force to blast targets into mid range if hit directly with near lethal force, causing knock outs and broken bones.

Note: Cannot be used in subsequent turns.
Note: After using, the user cannot use S rank Sound the next turn.

Oph was momentarily stunned as blinding blue bolt blasted bullets belaying through the air and destroyed the earthen dragon and its flaming artillery.

"One such as yourself in the midst of a place like this? You could only ever be up to something nefarious! It falls upon the shoulders of the great Oph Brand to thwart your plans!" boasted the unremarkable shinobi with completely undeserved gusto.

Forming a single handseal Oph would exhale a large fireball towards his opponent, the massive heat and size having actual tangibility, and a great bit of threat behind it.

However, haha!, it was a distraction! Throwing some shuriken which were bound with near invisible wires with one hand, and focusing his fire chakra simultaneously, Oph launched a barrage of flame enhanced shuriken whose flight paths he had free control over. While most of the shuriken would fly straight towards the opponent behind his fireball, Oph directed the one connected with the wire far out wide, aiming to redirect the shuriken to respond to the enemy's inevitable response to his own attack.

I scoff at the single minded thinking that would constrain my brilliance to a single word. And so what if I've turned villages into dust, people into frogs and animals into toys? That doesn't constrain me to a single definition, does it? Perhaps the thinking of Muggles were different - nonetheless, the Shinobi would hold back no longer! A sudden blast of Fire would radiate from his being in the form of a fireball.

"Oooh, Fire."


With a few hand seals, a blob of mystery would appear - ready to defend my honor! This sticky monstrosity would engorge the Fire, dousing it in it's embrace. Furthermore, several tendrils would burst from it, shooting in several directions towards the unsuspecting Shinobi, aiming to severely interrupt his plan of action. A single explosive tagged kunai is launched with grace, as it flies overhead, aiming to land just as he interacts with said tendrils.

Description: The user will perform a series of three hand seals ( Ram - Horse - Tiger ) and send water-based chakra in an area around them within short-range. He will materialize sticky water, similar to the water found in (Suiton: Mizuame Nababara) - Water Style: Starch Syrup Capture Field, and shape into the shape of a sphere. The water created in this technique differs from most water, where it has a shiny luster and acts as a mirror rather than being completely blue or translucent. The blob of water is quite useful and has two main abilities. Firstly, the blob, if within three meters of the user, acts as a near-instantaneous defense against a wide array of attacks. It is a sentient being that can grow in size, up to twice the size of the user and immediately cover the user (transparent from the inside) in a sphere of its own body (Shape is changeable to an extent; it could be a wall, block, cube, vortex-like shape, etc). The water body would be able to defend against a multitude of attacks by using its body, and more specifically, the sticky aspects of its composition. If a physical and tangible based attack, such as earth or earth based elements, is sent out by the target, that attack would stick into the blob's body and cling to it. If an energy based is released, like Fire, or Lightning, it would simply act as a normal Water Defense. A secondary ability sacrifices the blob itself. Through a single hand seal, a multitude of tentacles can burst forth from the main body of the blob up to mid-range. It is capable of grabbing a hold of enemies around the battlefield, and either pierce them, or grasp them and pull them into the main body. If the enemy is successfully trapped within the main body, the sticky-like composition of water would make it difficult to even move. The user can choose to keep the enemy within the body as a form of torture, or use chakra to increase the density of the water, which would easily crush a normal human.
Notes&Restricitons:
Note #1 The blob can only be created three times and lasts in the battlefield for up to three turns.
Note #2 The blob itself is a sentient being that can act on its own accord. It simply feeds from the users' chakra per turn to allow it to maintain the blob. Because of the constant donation of chakra, if it is not completely destroyed within one turn, then the blob would regenerate off of the users' chakra.
Note #3 The blob itself is relatively slow and moves at the user's walking speed.
Note #4 Can only be taught by EdwardSama
Note #5 The second ability is the only offensive component of this technique. The initial activation despite being near-instant is purely defensive in usage.

Oph watched as suddenly a strange reflected mass appeared and neutralized his fire assault; though, luckily, Oph was able to redirect the shuriken he had control over to destroy the kunai his opponent tried to throw to ambush him.

Following up, though, Oph formed a single hand seal and caused massive spikes for form around the oddly moving mass, scattering and destroying it, trying to watch his opponent's movements, who seemed to be simply responding to his own attacks.

Combining his specialties, Oph sought to test the abilities of the nefarious villain before him, launching some chunks of earth into the air and hurling towards the woman; following up with an ability that turned them into burning bombs.

Then, utilizing his Fire speciality to perform the technique with a Single Handseal, he formed a circle of motes of fire, which he then used to bombard his opponent.
