"Minato's FTG is faster than Tobirama's."

This is one of the most common. All FTG is instantaneous, it's impossible to go any faster.

"There is a Level 1/2 Hiraishin."

This is probably the most common, but the fault lies within the translators. In the raws, Minato says "飛雷神二の段だよ!" which actually translates as "This is the two step/stage Hiraishin!", explaining that he just throws the kunai and teleports to it.

Deidara was right. People just won't listen.(Edited from pain quote)

OT: You are right dude. But minato still has spacetime barrier which is something tombirama has not shown

I never understood why people who said 1 Hiraishin can be faster than the other thought they were making sense.

Just one question. If level2 doesn't exist, why does it exist a level3?

wrong, ftg of a clone is slower and that itself makes this thread invalid

That's Viz naming for you. But if you want, think of it as adding another step, (Throw Kunais, teleport to one and then another).

V1/2/3 suggests that the user goes faster, which is ludicrous.

That's just an assumption. He very easily could've been talking about the preparations for the technique, as Obito had already seen it, he could anticipate it if they took too long to prepare it.

If you want proof, the speed is the same, go and look back at the chapter where Goshun Mawashi no Jutsu was used.

The only invalid object here is you, thatgirl.

well the notion of ftg being instantaneous in all cases is a notion we basers have adopted

what happens in ftg??????
the person manipulates space ( bends warp gates laymans term) so that he can get from one place to another

it is universally accepted that the process of transfer from one place to another is near instant coz it's as though u stand there but ur surroundings changeZzz

but the efficiency with which one can bend these gates to allow teleportation can change depending upon factors kishi hasnot revealed yet (he might not ever reveal)

i guess when people using common sense say that all ftg might not be instant they re referring to this

but i do agree that most trolls say minato ftg >(faster ) tobirama's ftg or vice versa

lol "assumption", its right there in the viz translation, no ifs or buts and no excuses

they were able to co-operate at that time, but minato reached the battlefield earlier and tobirama said he is even better at teleporting and hiruzen said he is as fast as ever
it could not be more clear

i couldnt care less about your personal views when i have the viz

Lol ..It dosen't mean that they are equal just bcoz u can't observe the Dif ...manga clearly stated that FTG's speed is different from each other ...U r denying the manga fact bcoz it proves u wrong ...we can't observe the dif B/W Naruto's shunshin and Minato's FTG ..That dosen't mean that Naruto's speed is Equal to FTG ..

Real world logics won't work incase of Manga...

Correct, no difference in speed.

Only difference is mobility and combat convenience, that is all.

Neither is faster, but it is a matter of efficiency. Minato's is extremely easy to set up whereas Tobirama's is very unconventional and is only good in a drawn out fight. Minato also has S/T Barriers which can absorb and re-direct pretty much any attack. Minato's FTG is both more efficient, and more versatile.

Minato's FTG is better. I don't know who said faster, but minato's is definitely better do to the implementation of Kunai.

Minato can do a lot of FTG feats Tobirama can only dream of...

"飛雷神二の段だよ"

It's not really clear. "Hiraishin step 2" is right but "Hiraishin level/grade 2" can be accepted too

This is my understanding.

There is hiraishin speed which is constant.
Minato gets to his location instantly
Tobirama gets to his location instantly
Genma and raido when they used the technique for mei got there instantly

How if you noticed genma and raido and the other fodder apart from them not having the skill level of a kage to use it individually they also take a considerable time to make use of the technique. Their execution of the technique is significantly slower than minato and Tobiramas.

The preparation of execution of the technique speed differs however once used its the same

i agree and i think minato is more skillful in using it than tobirama..! i think tobirama can't teleport without some prep time no matter how little it is but minato can..! that's where minato is faster...!

Minato is just a little faster than Tobirama. I'm really pissed when some of annoying Minato's fans consider his skill is FAR faster than Tobirama's (!?). I agree Minato is superior in FTG but Tobirama is close.

I originally thought there was no proof that FTG was instant and not just fast, but I found a scan proving otherwise.

The scan doesn't account for anything. You're still assuming that they mean the speed, but does it say "The speed of the shadow clone's Flying Raijin is too slow"? No, it simply says it is too slow, very possibly referring to the preparation time.

We saw in that very same chapter that the speed of the technique is no different between Tobirama and Minato:

You must be registered for see images

I tried to bring this to your attention but it seems you failed to realize what it meant, so I'll clear it up, the Goshun Mawashi no Jutsu involves two Hiraishin users switching at the same time, that's not all though, the technique name translates (literally) as Mutually Instantaneous Revolving Technique.
