Clearing up the confusion on who the strongest Hokage is......

Hiruzen old can do every jutsu Hiruzen prime can. The only difference is the speed and strength. You consider that Hiruzen knows many jutsu's when all of us have not seen what those jutsu's are. If I can only find the chapter where someone said that a pre requisite to be a Hokage is to have a thousand jutsu's then it can rule out the argument of Hiruzen defeating Minato because he was the professor and he knows all jutsu.

Prime or not, there is no jutsu in his arsenal that we have seen so far (FACT) that can defeat FTG. What jutsu do you think that Hiruzen had to stop FTG?

2ndly killerbee countered ftg with a kunai and common battle sense.. and killerbee is no genius..

Hiruzen has his shruiken shadow clone jutsu... and MANY times in the manga it has been shown that kunai can be blocked or thrown off trajectory by simply throwing another kunai at it....

It may not be unbeatable but do you know of someone defeated it? It may not also be as good as creation of all things or Izanagi but it is very effective in battle. In a battle, the winner can't be determined by just looking at techs being so powerful but rather how a tech can be used effectively and Minato proved that already in the 3rd shinobi war. If we'll do simple math, then the average time he needs to defeat those 50 shinobi's is 6-8 millisecond. That's 6-8/1000 of a second.

Every powerful jutsu's consumes a great amount of chakra and I know that you know that. Now, name one powerful jutsu that can penetrate Minato S/T techs? Think this way...if Kurama was 100 times bigger than a human (which I doubt) and it costs Minato 50% of his chakra (just assuming) to teleport Kurama, then he can teleport a human 200 times!! How many times can a shinobi used powerful jutsu until he runs out of chakra? 100x? 200x? I don't think so. This is how I look every battle because Minato had the advantage in terms of speed, chakra consumption, intelligence, and techs.

Right, let me explain real easy for some of you................Minato is not the strongest Hokage. He is third strongest at best.

1. Hiruzen PRIME
2. Hashirama Senju
3. Minato Namikaze
4. Tobirama Senju
5. Tsunade​

Ok people need to realise Hiruzen in his prime was actually the strongest hokage. I cannot stress the importance of the word 'PRIME' enough when talking about Hiruzen.

I know alot of you don't want to accept it because you've only seen the old man version (which i'll admit would lose to Minato probably), but in his prime he was said to have surpassed his predessors and was known as the 'God of Shinobi'.

Hashirama Senju's feats speak for themselves. I don't think I need to waste energy trying to convinve some of you who are well and truley baffled: Hashirama > Minato.

You could argue, if you wanted, Hashirama > Hiruzen due to feats etc, but just understand what 'knowing all of the jutsu available in konoha actually means'..............However, I admit this top position is easily interchangeable, and it's a VERY even argument when trying to decide who's stronger out of Hiruzen and Hashirama.

The fact is, even at the age of 69 Hiruzen was still able to hold his own against edo Hashirama and Tobirama, not to mention Orochimaru. Add to that the fact he still had enough in the tank to use Death reaper jutsu on himself and 2 other shadow clones. This at age 69.

I gave Minato the benefit of the doubt when it came to Tobirama Senju because we know little about his abilities but i'm sure there are some people who'd argue he could defeat Minato.

Anyway, I was just clearing that up because some people were a little confused, especially when it came to Minato U_U

Good Post. For The Most Part Though, Everything Is Only Speculative; The Main Reason For That Being That Little If Anything Has Been Shown Concerning Either Hiruzen's Power In His Prime, Tobirama's Power, Or Even Hashirama's.

The Problem For Most People, In My Opinion, Is How To Successfully Weigh Each Of Their Reputations; Hiruzen Was Known As The 'God Of Shinobi', But Hashirama Is Forever Credited With His Control Over The Tailed Beasts And Defeating The Infamous Madara Uchiha, Who Possessed The Nine-Tails During Their Last Battle. Because Little Is Known Of Hiruzen's Power In His Youth, Everyone Jumps On The Hashirama Bandwagon.

In Terms Of Hiruzen And Minato, The Fans Of The Latter Are Most Likely Soo Focused On His Body Flicker Technique That They Don't Account For Everything Else The Battle May Hold. In Their Eyes, As Soon As Minato Marks Hiruzen With His Seal, It's Over, As Far As They're Concerned. Of Course, There's Much More To It Than That; And With Hiruzen Being Referred To As The 'God Of Shinobi' During His Time, I'm Sure He'd Figure Out A Way To Deal With It - Something Minato Fans Don't Care To Think About, Or Admit, For That Matter.

Regrettably, With Nothing Shown Of Hiruzen's Feats In The Past, While More Of Minato And A Bit Of Hashirama's Pasts Were Expanded Upon, Until Kishimoto Provides Us With A Flashback Of Hiruzen's Strength In His Prime, There Will Be An Endless Amount Of People Who View Hashirama/Minato As Being Greater Than Hiruzen, Power-Wise.
