Can someone explain how Part 1 Naruto surpassed Part 1 Sasuke?

In the Haku and Zabuza saga at this time Sasukw had more jutsu, taijutsu, skills, etc than Naruto but when Naruto use Kurama chakra for 1st time he is stronger than Sasuke.

In the Chunnin Exam when Naruto has no access to kurama chakra, somehow has way more chakra than Sasuke.

Naruto trains to use Kurama chakra at will and summoning jutsu, while Sasuke trains in taijutsu and Chidori.

How is it Naruto surpassed Sasuke in Part 1 so easy? Even Sasuke admits being weaker than Naruto.

In early part 2 is reverse, somehow Sasuke greatly surpass Naruto, even though Sasuke didn't use his CM, even though Naruto wasn't at 100, Naruto admited being weaker than Sasuke.

When I come home from work I post the proof.

Part 1 Sasuke admitting being weaker than Naruto was afterword Gaara attack, but before Sasukw meeting Itachi.

Part 2 Naruto admitted being weaker than Sasuke after his defeat against Sasuke and his team, but before Rasenshuriken training.
