Last chapter's TBB was far larger than Flash Bijuu Dama because it was likely amped by Rikudo's chakra/other Bijuu chakra's combining.

Imo, this explosion is portrayed as far larger no matter how you look at it, lake, mountains and the explosion itself all add up to make it look much larger. Only reason the other one is seemingly bigger at first sight is because the mountains seem much larger.

Actually they are only that small during a beast bomb barrage, which are multiple weaker bombs. So yea the bomb naruto made is quite small compared to normal.

No, the bijju dama he made is around the same size as the standard one made normally, like what the full kyuubi made several times except when its fully charged up . All this doesn't change the fact it was used by a bijju avatar enhanced by rikkudous senjutsu so its far stronger than the normal average one.

Long-ranged bijuu dama makes no difference. Naruto was jumping towards Sasuke with the bijju dama in the Kyubi's mouth so it still had kinetic energy.

I could argue that it wasn't a large chidori too. Chidori can vary in size and power depending on how much chakra, speed and force is put into the attack.

In any case, Naruto can only make very large bijju dama if he has enough time to charge it up. By that time he would get neg diffed by PS chidori. Hence, he made it as large as he could given the time constraint.
