[Clarification] Naruto didn't use a long-ranged Bijuu Bomb when he clashed with Sauce

He never shot it out. Sasuke used a Chidori with his Susano'o's hand and Naruto's Chakra Avatar just used a Bijuu Bomb like a Rasengan coming from its mouth and then they clashed. It's not like Sasuke's Chidori clashed with a long-range Bijuu Dama. Naruto saw Sasuke's Susano'o charging a Chidori and wanted to clash with it, so he used an amount of his powers small enough to match Sasuke's Chidori. That's about average size dude. Seriously a bijuudama is a bijuudama. Unless they are huge they r generally the same size and shooting it doesn't make a difference

That's not true. A TBB is like a grenade. Thrown or stationary, the explosion will have the same amount of power. If Naruto had shot that TBB, the explosive force would have been the exact same, the same way the explosion from a grenade or any other type of bomb is the same whether it's thrown or if it's stationary. If TBBs did blunt damage by just slamming into the opponent, then it would have been stronger if shot. Due to being an explosive, TBB doesn't work that way.

Actually they are only that small during a beast bomb barrage, which are multiple weaker bombs. So yea the bomb naruto made is quite small compared to normal.

If you want to get really technical about it, you'd be wrong. A stationary Bijuudama crafted like a Rasengan has barely any movement, and ergo barely any Kinetic energy. A Bijuu dama flashed at a distance has a higher speed (acceleration), therefore have a higher force of impact, and ergo higher Kinetic energy.

But this doesn't really matter seeing as how Naruto was in no position to shoot off a long distance Bijuu dama given how close he and Sasuke were. He wouldn't have had time.

you know what i just noticed? if narutoʻs in the mouth of the kyuubi avatar, and the kyuubiʻs mouth was wide open when the blast went off, then does that mean naruto just tanked that giant explosion with his body cloak?

and yeah, if you noticed, the order of the events were:

1) sasuke charges up chidori with his arm
2) naruto then responds by jumping in the air towards sasuke
3) sasuke begins his chidori stab
4) naruto begins to form the bijuudama
5) techniques clash

narutoʻs intention was to cancel sasukeʻs attack out, not hit sasuke with it.
