Description:While the user is in possesion of his sword he holds it with one of his hand and tranfers pure chakra in it and rotates it in a circular motion and a shield of pure chakra is formed which is capable enough of blocking all the elemental jutsu upto A rank(shield is broken completely)
and below (Shiel suffers a little damage but can take on one more attack)

So, an elemental A-Rank technique breaks the shield, but what about a non elemental technique like Tai or Nin, does it work against those two too?
And after blocking a B-Rank or lower, what is the maximum rank it can defend against, 2 B-rank,or B en C?

Well it should take on an S rank attack of normal chakra but I did not know the difference b/w elemental and non-elemental chakra back when I made this technique therefor it was not designed for that purpose so only use it in out most need. [I will update this techniques as soon as I can]
As for taijutsu, I will say it will stop most of the attacks but the question is can you complete a swing action while releasing chakra from the sword before your opponent punches you? So think before you use it in such a tricky situation...

Your style works by using whips to cast genjutsu, It can be done in multiple ways like sound of them moving or bu touching the opponent by them, whips in general are long thick threads which can cause great damage upon impact and may even result in swelling,As for different type of whips I don't have much I dea except they are made up of different materials like leather etc......

Good, as for the different types of whips, there are short one's, used in horse riding, but also long one's, bull whips for example.

First things first. Before we can start practising with the whip and genjutsu you need to know how to handle a whip, how to attack and how to defend with it. See those line a tans there?

As gray speaks these words to himself he starts to move the whip for the very first time and going by the instructions he uses his dominant fist to move him, the first swing goes completely off the beat and takes 4 canes at one as instead of going straight the whip went vertical and took out many canes at one
Gray than quickly run towards the cans and places them properly again and than moves back to his initial position.
Gray: It seriously is going to be hard >.>
With his second attempt gray takes into account he made the last time and instead of going in an arc pattern he moves his hands wrist in rather straight pattern and successfully hit's a can, he then slowly and gradually strikes 18 canes one after the other but and due to the excitement of completing the task, he moves his hand in rather awkward manner and strikes to canes one.
Gray: Damn me and my hyper activeness. >_>
Gray quickly places all the cans together again and this time slowly and gradually strikes all the can's one after the other.
Gray: Finally I am done with them U_U

After listening to your instruction gray starts to use his whip and starts to aim for the respective places and start's from the top most portion of the body of the dummy which is his Shoulders, Gray starts by holding his whip in a way that it goes perfectly straight so as to be precise with his attacks, Gray starts to swing the whip but misses on the first occasion and instead strikes the neck of the dummy.
Gray: Oye sensei, I think striking at the neck will be more effective O-O

Hmmm, that looks fine to me, you just need more practise. Of course, no opponent just stands still and waits for your attack, so now it's moving targets!

Seems you've figured out hew there guys work, but how will you do it with shadowclones?

Neat, but the only thing you forgot about is that the clones were coming at the same time, from different angles. The idea of using the whip in this case is circling it around your body in a protective barrier so that the opponent can not come close to you.
So, now you have the basics down we'll be starting with the first (and for now only) technique.

I don't fell like getting hurt myself today, so practise on these guys. You will start by moving the whip around you, creating a slight defence from advancing opponents, and channel your chakra into the whip. The you will flick the whip forwards, and hit one of the clones at any point on his body, besides his head, disrupting his chakra flow slightly and putting him under a genjutsu.
While the clones is in the genjutsu, he will feel his muscle start to hurt, where he is hit, which will increase over time (2 turns) until the muscles are too painful to move any more.
Try it out at different area's on the body, but it works the best on the limbs.
Oh, and don't let me hear you complain again, you wanted to learn this mister>.<
I start by moving my whip in circular pattern so as to create a defense around me and while doing so I stat to pass my chalra into the whip, I them make the whip charge towards one of your clone and strike him on his knee area and put him under a genjtsu in that slight moment, the moment he is under my genjutsu he starts to feel a great muscle pain which slowly and gradually increases with time making it rather impossible for him to move, I then again start to rotate my whip while charging it with my chakra and strike your second clone on his shoulder area and cast him under the same genjutsu, I than directly charge my whip towards the last clone while passing my chakra into the whip and as soon as whip makes contact with your clone he is casted under the same genjutsu and thus all your 3 clones are immobilized with in a certain interval of time.

Hoippu Geijutsu | Whip Arts
Type: Gentaijutsu
Background: While travelling trough the ninja world, -Severus Snape- came across a lot of different fighting styles, but one of them made the biggest impact on him, a Sannin from the leaf who used his hair as a whip. This inspired him to start fighting using a self-made whip. In the beginning this didn’t help him in his battles, it even caused him almost to die. Starting to combine his whip attacks with genjutsu, he realised that this was an really effective fighting style and started to use it.
Description on the Abilities and Inner Workings of the Style:
This type of genjutsu uses the whip the user carries with him to disturb the enemy’s chakra flow, by inserting a bit of the users chakra trough a whip into the opponents chakra flow. This disruption of the flow of chakra makes the enemy perceives illusions, which puts enemy under a genjutsu. The damage done by the Whip Arts is Physical (if hit by the whip) but can also be Mental (the genjutsu the enemy is put under).
Whip Arts techniques are usually fast but gracefully, relying on the short ‘whipping’ movements of the whip to hurt the enemy (If they did too much physical damage, the enemy they would automatically be released from the genjutsu) and then disturbing the enemy’s chakra flow to put them under a Genjutsu. The speed of the movements can be compared with the speed of an attacking snake, short but powerful.
Additional effects and Restrictions:
-Must be of at least Sannin Rank to learn
- Must have mastered Genjutsu
-The user biography must carry a (Custom) whip
-This style can only be taught by a Hoippu geijutsu Master.
