You choose. Doesn't really matter, lol.xD Hey there. So, who starts?
(Ninjutsu: Nezumi no Hoohige ) Ninja Arts: Rat WhiskersWell then, please analyze Rat Whiskers for me.
It applies to you, but I think it should apply to when it's used from the hands, not when it's used from the ground. Oh well xD(Ninjutsu: Nezumi no Hoohige ) Ninja Arts: Rat Whiskers
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30 (-5 per turn to maintain)
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user will expel chakra outwards, from her hands. The chakra will create a set of 5 wires, thin and sharp but strong, which will immediately wrap around the opponent. While they can be used on their own to powerfully constrict the opponent, they can be used more efficiently by adding an elemental nature to them. Strong elements (Earth, Metal, etc) or Slicing elements (Wind, Lightning, etc) will strengthen or sharpen the thin wires, which will allow them to slice through flesh and bone by the inherited constriction force. Other elements may weaken the body itself, allowing the said slicing effect (Fire burning, Rotting elements, etc). Elements that do not fall in these characteristics will simply add their characteristics to the wires, but will only have the tight grip of normal chakra wires, and not the slicing property.
With one handseal, the wires can be shot from the ground upwards, binding the target. The user can gradually increase the sharpness and the tight hold of the technique by hand gestures (when he uses it from his hands directly as "whips") or by maintaining the hand seal (if used from the ground).
*If used from the ground, can't preform any further jutsu until the grip is released*
The wires are only able to severe the thinner limbs/weak spots and severely injuring the thicker body parts (I.e Severe arms, legs, necks, and Injure torso, head).
*This jutsu can only be used thrice per battle, at max 1 usage every two turns*
The wires follow the element's and rank's weaknesses and strengths
*Cannot be used by CE elements.
From what I understood there are two ways to perform the technique. One, without handseals, shoots the wires from the hands while the other requires one handseal but shoots from the ground underneath the opponent. The wires are basically made out of raw chakra but depending on the situation and the users wishes, he can add elemental chakra so that the wires attain the elements specific abilities, cutting or strengthening them. I do have questions about what would happen if the wires would made of water. It would obviously prevent the opponent from using lightning, but it seems that nothing else would really happen, other than making the opponent wet, lol. Also, I'm wondering about the first restriction. Does it apply to me or the opponent?
Well that sucks. Badly. Very badly. It applies to you, but I think it should apply to when it's used from the hands, not when it's used from the ground. Oh well xD
Water has no additional properties other than the lightning. it has a strong grip similar to raw chakra, but will have the elemental characteristics. Some elements are not designed for the cutting abilities. Wood is another one that doesn't really cut. Ice, on the other hand, injures the flesh, so it will cut. Any other element you'd like me to clarify?
Ah, didn't think of it that way. Makes sense. Should I go next?Well yeah, but it doesn't affect a clone or a summon's ability to preform techniques, besides, you're free to use taijutsu as your opponent is trapped. And Rat Whiskers is an attack in itself. And you could preform a jutsu, send it towards your opponent and then trap him, preventing him from blocking the jutsu you threw first xD
But yeah xD
Alright then, let's go with the same procedure. Can you explain Dysgraphia, please?Sure![]()
Hahah, indeed. You could cover it up with that. However, it works only for one technique and he is still able to perform techniques that don't require handseals or written seals. With this, you basically restrict his jutsu pool for 80%, if not even more. If he manages to survive the next two turns without using such techniques, it goes away, like nothing happened. Since it doesn't really affect his senses I can say for sure that it's almost impossible to reason out that it's a genjtsu because he doesn't know he has the deficiency until he tries to perform a technique which would fail, being the only lead. However, by then you could and should finish him off.Uh, can I? xD
Genjutsu: Shojishōgai | Illusionary Arts: Dysgraphia
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user performs a single handseal and places a genjutsu upon the opponent. The genjutsu consists of tricking the opponents brain into suffering from Dysgraphia. Dysgraphia is a neurological deficiency that impairs the ability to write, same as basic motor skills. The inability to write is also referred to as Agraphia, which is a complete loss of ability to write and spell when writing. Also, persons with agraphia can't transform graphemes in written language. The impairment of motoric skills manifests in the inability of the victim to perform handseals properly, confusing them and not being able to place his hands correctly, which results in not being able to successfully mold chakra for the upcoming jutsu. The purpose of the genjutsu is to make the opponent unable to write seals for sealing techniques as well as other techniques that require seals and symbols to be written on scrolls in order to be performed, same as performing handseals for techniques that require them. With the inability to write proper seals, same as performing correct handseals, the opponent's attempt to perform such techniques would result in a fail. The genjutsu lasts for 2 turns, unless the opponent frees himself by then. The opponent is still, however, capable of performing techniques that don't require handseals, and those that don't require writing seals in general.
Note: No other genjutsu while this is active
Note: Usable only twice (2) per battle
Note: Only McRazor can teach this
Basically, Dysgraphia is a neurological deficiency, where the user is able to understand and perceive language and symbols, but is incapable of writing them or preform them. It is commonly related to a loss of brain connections, especially in the area of the working memory, which is what I feel we're recreating by using chakra to cover or omit this connections, producing the effects we want. So the opponent will be restricted in his usage of anything related to the practical usage of symbols such as handseals and writing (Fuuin or Summoning techniques). It is noticeable, though, as the opponent will explicitly try to make handseals/writings but won't be able to. (Though, if we manage to hit them in the head, we can say we actually caused the effects xD)
Well, the purpose of the genjutsu is to prevent him from performing a technique that requires handseals. Once he does that and fails his technique, I believe that the purpose of the genjutsu is fulfilled and that the genjutsu as such ends. Isn't that so?What do you mean only one technique? Isn't all handseals until the two turns pass?
Hm, it seems that it really could be used that way too, since it doesn't specifically state anything. Still, I haven't imagined it as that when I was making it and I'm sure the checker didn't either, otherwise it would hardly get approved, lol. Even so, I'm pretty sure you have more than enough of an opening to finish the opponent once he fails his jutsu.I figured the genjutsu would continue until the two turns pass, preventing the usage of such techniques until the time's up or the genjutsu is released. But yeah, I'll use it as you described.
So, basically, I gather my chakra and release an immensely fast burst around me, that acts as a turtle shell, protecting me from incoming danger. It's fast as Gaara's sand shield, if not even faster, which is just sick.Yes indeed. I promised you more than one technique, right? Please analyze the second one
Yes, it is a burst of chakra, so it can release you from genjutsu one rank bellow S (A rank). As for restrictions:So, basically, I gather my chakra and release an immensely fast burst around me, that acts as a turtle shell, protecting me from incoming danger. It's fast as Gaara's sand shield, if not even faster, which is just sick. And with all that, after an additional handseal, I can dismantle the shield in order to send a burst of earthen chunks outwards, harming the opponent.
I have a question though. Since it's a burst, highly concentrated, would it possibly be able to release from genjutsu? As far as I understood, it works pretty much like nagashi, but also having the characteristics of the weight techniques that can release from genjutsu. Regarding the restrictions, I believe I can't call forth summons nor perform earth techniques above A rank, while I can't perform above S ranks in the next turn.
