The Sharingan ("Copy Wheel Eye") is the Kekkei Genkai of Konoha's Uchiha Clan, known as a dojutsu; "eye power". It turns the user's eye red and adds a certain number of extra pupils ("tomoe" as they're known), dependent on the maturity/skill of the user. There can be up to three pupils.
It grants a variety of abilities, including but not limited to: the ability to see chakra, heightened perception speeds, the ability to cast illusions via hypnosis, etc. etc. Perhaps one of the more well known abilities, such is its namesake, is the ability to copy movements/techniques of an opponent within the physical/mental limitations of the Sharingan user.
In order to gain a Sharingan, the Uchiha member/descendant must have gone through some significant event in their lives, or a powerful emotional condition, which is why these are also known as "eyes that reflect the heart". Non-Uchiha must transplant them into themselves. Uchiha natives can activate and deactivate their eyes at will, transplant recipients can't.
There is a natural evolution to the Sharingan, the Mangekyo Sharingan ("Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye"), gained by Uchihas going through traumatic events. This is a more powerful version of the Sharingan that gives the user incredible abilities such as Susanoo, Amaterasu, and Tsukiyomi. With great power comes the risk of eventual, permanent blindness if the user abuses the eye too much.
Finally, the pinnacle of the Sharingan is the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, gained by closely-related Uchihas transplanting their MS to one another. The EMS is functionally similar to the MS, though the risk of blindness is lost.

Itachi was already bracing himself for whatever Korra could throw at him, but the sheer power of the Rasengans proved to almost exceed his own limits. As powerful as she was beautiful.
Smashing against the rock wall behind the waterfall, Itachi was drenched as he hobbled back up from the shallow water, hunched over and clutching his stomach. There was a strong burn mark on his stomach, and his robes had been ripped off in a spiral fashion. He coughed up blood, staining the otherwise pure water.
"I... will... do whatever it takes..." he said, struggling with speech.

Looking up at Korra once more, Itachi's left eye was closed in pain. However, Korra would be able to clearly see the reddening of his right iris, coupled with the formation of a new, smaller pupil to compliment his main one.
"It..." he began, then fell unconscious on the water, face up.
An unspecified time later, he jerked up to find himself alone in the training field. He was wet and cold, and still injured. Getting out of the water, he wrapped his cloak around him and hobbled on his way to the hospital for treatment.

)The 2T has an extra pupil that circles around the main one alongside the first Tomoe. It's a sign of a more mature Sharingan.
In the RP, it has the ability to track higher speeds (2x that of the 1T), anticipate and analyze movement, and now, the ability to copy handseals and logically predict moves. Unlike the 1T which can pierce through D-rank genjutsu max, the 2T can pierce through C-rank max, making anything of that level and lower almost useless before it :snick:

Nope all good ^^ Korra throws a smoke bomb covering your view of him. He creates clones and him and them have hidden themselves in the large training field, to your left is a large pond of water, to the right a forest, and all around you between those two is a large open grassy plain, with jagged rocks dotting the area.
Using your Sharingan's ability to see the flow of chakra, use this to locate me, and distinguish my chakra flow from amidst the area.
Upon receiving Korra's instructions, Itachi would find himself obscured by smoke. Reacting as expected, Itachi injected chakra into his eyes, activating his 1T Sharingan.
When his eye turned red and an extra pupil appeared, the smoke became almost irrelevant. Itachi saw Korra's chakra on her original body, and the smoke, while forming a layer, only caused the surroundings to be slightly blurry, not obscured like it was previously. It was not as dense as, say, a chakra-infused smoke technique. Taking note of the original Korra, Itachi would see her forming multiple clones, each with their own chakra signature nearly identical to the original's. The chakra signatures spread out throughout the field and hid among the terrain, but it was relatively futile, as Itachi had already kept a particular bead on Korra BEFORE she created the clones. One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.

Yes thats good ^^ Okay now to achieve 2T we will do a taijutsu battle (tho I suck at tai so this will be short). In the battle I want you to use your sharingan to fight against me and explain you using the sharingan and how you are using it.

Asami foward with her right leg driving the bottom of her foot into your stomach using the momentum of the slide to increase its power. From that position she plants her left palm on the ground and turns her hips to the right so that her back is now facing the ground. She swings her left leg up forcefully, kicking the bottom of your chin snapping your head back and knocking you into the air.
Itachi was able to track Asami's movements with his Sharingan. He couldn't fully anticipate and even predict what she was going to do next due to the lack of maturity in his eyes, but he was able to react perhaps just a tad faster. With Asami's slide maneuver, Itachi deduced that she might be aiming to kick him in the stomach, which was confirmed as her leg was going to make contact as such.
Before Asami could make contact, Itachi performed a simple sidestep to his left, pivoting on his left foot. For the briefest of moments, Asami was 'floating' in the air from a missed attack, giving Itachi the opportunity to grab her by her arm with his left hand, complimenting her momentum with his own rotational force as he spun her around a couple of times (rotating on his left foot), then releasing her, causing her to be tossed to the side, hitting the ground.
