Then as he spews the air thorugh a ring between his index and thumb, it ignites into a huge fireball which manages to vaporize a good volume of water.*

*grabs the lighter from his sensei's hands, turns it on. Then he throws it into some naked ground with no grass and does the handseals, concentrates katon chakra. Then he releases the katon chakra and the flame turns into a blazing wall of fire.*

Aww, I'll do it sensei! *he grabs the lighter again, and throws it lit onto the ground. then, he does handseals and concentrates katon chakra. Upon hitting the last handseals the katon chakra is freed onto the fire creating a much bigger blazing wall of fire.*

now throw a kunai/shuriken with a string at your target(tree) and then do the seal and spit fire on the string to burn your enemy

yes vergil-sensei!*grabs multiple kunai and shurikens with, clear, thin, chakra-reactive metal strings attatched to them. I throw a shower of kunais and shurikens to a tree which ends up wrapped in strings. Then, I grab the strings, make the handseals and concentrate katon chakra. Upon hitting the last seal, I release it through the strings, which ignite in lines of fire that collide into the tree and ignites it in a burst of flames.*
