Chouji the strongest in Ino-Shika-cho

While I agree that he's improved in all areas, all the members of Ino-Shika-Cho are interdependent. They're a unit and each member is worth a fraction of what they are as a team.

That being said, I think Choji is the most useful in a solo battle.

Physically speaking, Chouji has always been the strongest of the Konoha 11. He could beat the **** out of Shikamaru, but he needs the intellectual and technical support of Shika and Ino.

I still take Shika, 1v1 against Choji. They both know each others Jutsu very well, so there is no element of surprise. Physical strength will not be the deciding factor. Shikas intelligence will.

Wrong physical prowess will be the deciding factor because Chouji can break out of the shadow possession jutsu with it WHILE Shikamaru has no defense against Chouji's humongous strength. You can say shikamaru can dodge it. But chouji can keep doing it over and over.

Chouji is a battlefield changer.

Chouji is stronger then Hidan at this point..Also, Shikamaru wasn't facing a guy who is the size of a hill and can kill him with one punch.. soo yea..

And when have we seen shikamaru take on opponents the strength of chouji???

And master strategist can't win something with his strategies if he can't rival it with strength.. what shadow possession gonna do??
