The Earth Release, are techniques that allow the user to manipulate the surrounding earth for offensive and defensive purposes, it might be dirt, mud, or a rock. Earth Release techniques have the ability to change the strength and composition of the earth from being as hard as metal to as soft as clay. This includes allowing the user to travel through ground and rock in various ways which can be used for both transportation and for setting up attacks or creating defenses or for offense. Earth techniques is weak against Lighting techniques and good against Water techniques. ''What ranges is Earth best in'': I did say Mid to long. ''What does Earth serve as mainly (Offensive, Defensive or Supllementary)?'': Defensive and Offensive, in my opinion. ''Name on Earth user'': Hiruzen Sarutobi. And the last question what is earth in Real life: I don't know how to explain that. D:
Earth is basically just ground.
