*The flow of lightning creates a visible aura around you. As I see this happening, I punch you in the stomach, which sends you flying but leaves me shocked a little.*
This is good, we're getting there. Add a little more lightning chakra and make sure it abosrbs all the physical attacks done against you and shocks the opponent.

(i start to charge lightning chakra again, from chakra pionts all over my body)
(i start to form into armour, completely covering my body)

You have to make it repulse most low-level physical attacks: Higher levels still go through and hit you, but the opponent is paralysed as well.

You send your lightning chakra into the sky. <- That's step one.
You then gather the lightning chakra into the sky <- that step two.
Then, you make the gathered lightning chakra strike down on the location you want it to <- Step three.
You don't shoot it into the sky straight up to hit a tree. ._. That wouldn't exactly work. O_O

Okay, now, you just have to send out a wave of lightning chakra that electrocutes any water in its path. All lightning techniques do that, but this one is useful for it because you can use it like epically quickly, so you can shock the water technique you use (That's the main thing it's used forrr) just a few sec after you use the water tech itself.
You can use this without Water too, but the power of this tech is a lot lower then when used with water.

The lightning itself shouldn't be quick, but the time you charge it should be very short.
Don't keep charging huge amounts of chakra, charge the minimum amount possible for this attack, for the highest performing speed.

Description: After using a Water Style technique, the user releases a wave of electricity that can electrocute any water within range, electrocuting and knocking back an opponent in contact with the water. When used without a water technique, its power is moderate. The technique can be used extremely quickly, so that it finishes almost in conjunction with the previous jutsu.

Charge your lightning chakra and slam your hands together. When you do this, lightning should start to crackle around you. Then slam your hands on the ground to channel the charged lightning chakra through the ground.
When this chakra approaches those trees there *Points at a group of 7 trees, with one in the path of your attack* make 6 tendrils come out of the base lightning, which hits one tree, to destroy the other trees.
