Correct me if I'm wrong (and this is my first post), but when Nagato activated his rinnegan after seeing Yahiko get hurt, didn't Jiraiya say only the child of prophecy can obtain the rinnegan? I'm not really sure because my memory on the manga and anime is really blurred.

Wrong . Jiraya never said that , your memory was blurred .

The rinnegan is a set of eyes merging the power of uchiha and senju . So with a EMS and senju cells , rinnegan can be achieved .

And again , nagato only got the rinnegan after his parents got hurt , not when yahiko got hurt.
