Chihaya claps her hands together, and what seems like electrical energy begins to pop and crackle around her. She stares the dummy straight in it's wooden face and runs her hands directly onto the ground. The electrical current rampages towards the dummy through the earth. However, Chihaya decides to keep the electrical current as one, rather than splitting it into multiple.
I think this technique is one of the good lightning techniques. Lightning happens to be one of my least favorite elements as of now, but I see this technique really powerful. It is a strength that is stretches all the way to Long ranged, also that it can split into multiple paths, limiting the opponent as to where they can escape. A weakness I see is that the technique is easily avoidable by escaping upwards, as the electrical current must use the earth as a means to travel. I would totally use this as an offensive upbringing to my opponent.
A question though: Could you use this technique off of an Earth technique? Like if you erupted pillars around the opponent, could you then spice them up by using this move on them?
Chihaya will raise her hands high into the air, lightning beginning to charge. Once she feels confident, she unleashes the lightning enery in the form of a bolt. It pierces through the air and clashes into the dummies face, erupting lightning throughout the wood.
This technique doesn't appeal to me as it seems very easily dodge-able. The way it is performed is pretty dope and cool looking, but this leads me into a weakness. First, the user would see you charging the lightning energy. As if raising your arms into the air isn't suspicious at all... yeah.. it is. Also, it is a bullet in which could easily be fended off by creating a wall, or dodging, or moving in any direction, etc. A strenth (as well as in the other techniques) is that their are no handseals involved. If I used this technique which I probably won't, I would use it offensively to attempt to hit my opponent. Maybe if they were binded or stuck, I would use this.
Chihaya generates her chakra and releases her lightning into her technique. A rope of electricity is formed and she whips it out of control at the dummy in which doesn't react at all.
This technique also doesn't appeal much to me. I feel a strength is that it is sorta difficult to defend from as a rope has many movements and angles it can be whipped at, giving the opponent a hard time predicting where it will come from A weakness would be the fact that a rope is so thin and landing a hit could be hard if the opponent is fast, or just sets up a wall of some sort. I would use this in battle offensively.
