It is weak to wind and strong to earth, and is very weak to paper techniques as paper is a great insulator for electricity. It is also able to be channeled through water as water is a very good electric conductor, though their relationship in a direct clash is neutral. Lightning also has a neutral relationship to fire, as both are heat based elements, and do not share any natural relationship as fire is a much less solid element than any other element, save for lightning. These elements generally share an unfocused or extremely focused usage of shape manipulation with little in between. Some examples of this include things like Chidori, a large amount of lightning chakra forced into a single space, creating a focus of lightning chakra, whereas with something like Chidori Thunderstorm or Nagashi, you might be releasing an unfocused amount of lightning chakra from your body, causing widespread damage but less focused damage or effects. Lightning is also the 2nd most popular element in the RP, the 1st being water, 3rd being wind, 4th being fire, and the 5th being earth.
